"Christians" Who Continue to Sin

[One With Him]

When Paul wrote his first letter to the Church at Corinth he wrote it because of sexual sin in the church. (among other reasons) But Paul continued to treat them as brothers and sisters in Christ. Also we judge actions. We judge people based on what they say and do. God judges people on the content of their hearts. People often tell themselves things so they can feel better about themselves. People like this will not respond to harsh words, but love is the way to the heart. I will be praying that God will open the blinded eyes of this women.

What do you folks think about persons such as this lady who claim to be Christians and say they are saved but continue to lead a life of sin and how would you answer them?

 

 

Those people are in for a rude awakening.

 

Just my opinion.

 

 I would say you will know them by their fruits..  It sounds to me as if this woman is  under the wrong assumption of what a real believer is.    

These people they can see the Essenes of the part of the good news, " saved by Grace and that's not of your selfs, is the gift of God"or should I say:" Jonh 3:16, or nothing can take you away from me, no sin no nothing, the one who believes in me even if he sins he lives in me, "the wages of sin is dead is out", under the eternal founded of the blood of Jesus.

those people are very happy in Jesus, they have a Joy and happyness not too many believers have, the dont have the fear of hell, the trust totally in Jesus, God bless their faith. They can laugh in the face of the Devil, they are able to mock the Devil, they can tell him, you can do with us and our afflictions as you please, even make it worse for us and torment us here on earth, BUT you can not have us for eternity, you can not use our sins as a reason to take us from Jesus, Jesus has died and paid for our sins, and he is the judge of our faith.

I believe a cavalier mentality towards sin of any kind is a mistake. It cost God dearly to pay the price for it (each and every sin). The cross and the trials we know about. But we cannot imagine what a sacrifice it is for God the Word to be in human form forever so saving humanity could even be possible. Also it is wise to temper one's perception of grace with:

Ezekiel 33:18–19 (NKJV)

¹⁸When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die because of it.

¹⁹But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he shall live because of it.

Die in verse 18 is physical. Live in verse 19 is eternal. 

1 Corinthians 5:5 (NKJV)

⁵deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Now this is the extreme solution for the believer who refuses to give up sin that the Lord has been dealing with them over for however many times the Lord deems necessary. Could be millions of chances could be only one. Remember we are dealing with an omniscient mind.

If your friend (or any of us for that matter) chooses to charge ahead brazenly in sin with impunity, watch out! God is active and especially in the lives of his children (his property). This is remind myself of as well.

But the good news about this is that God is ever open to the repentant heart.
