I looked over Surah last night Leonard and couldn't find it anywhere.

There are several texts commanding offensive warfare to kill

the pagans, Jews, and Christians. Among them Sura 9:5 stands out

for its explicit injunction to slay the infidels: "When the

forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans

wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in

wait for them in every stratagem (of war). But if they repent,

and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity

[become Moslem], then open the way for them." The best way for

people to save their lives, was by renouncing their religion and

adopting the Islam faith. In some instances conquered people

could save their lives by paying a heavy tribute and becoming

submissive to Muslim rulers.

In the same chapter, Sura 9:29-31, Muslims are commanded to

fight Jews and Christians until they are subdued. Those who

submitted themselves to Muslim rulers were to be subjected to a

heavy tribute.

People have taken those verses OUT OF CONTEXT. Lets read the verses in the context their written. Ill give you one example, Surah 9:5. The same applies for the other verses, people just write one verse and says here look, it says to kill all non- Muslims, but that doesnt mean to go and kill them in general, its talking about those who were fighting during battle. These were revealed during battle, this does not mean to go out and kill everyone.

I dont think so. Thats YOUR OPINION. Islams history is on the Muslims side, we were the ones who saved the Jews and minorities from the Christian kings and monarchs. They tortured and killed them for fun. They trashed Jerusalem to disrespect the Jews, the Muslims cleaned their temple for them and returned them to Jerusalem.

Im not a hypocrite like you, i wont use this against Christians and say their murdered, rapists..etc I know Christians would speak out against what happened with the Crusades and the governments who represented Christianity in the past.

You keep making all these claims yet you have no evidence. Those who break the laws and rules in Islam doesnt mean Islam is wrong, it means they're wrong.

Hmmmm.....You mean like....people who fly airplanes into buildings , saw off heads, send their children strapped with a bomb belt on, hijack planes and on and on. I disagree with the Muslim faith but I have met enough peaceful Muslims to know that its a minority of them that are terrorists. One problem though. ITS ENOUGH!!!We need to stop making excuses for these Rats. There is never any excuse for this type of activity. NEVER...NONE...ZILTCHO...NOTTA

People who do that, have their own personal beliefs. The Quran is specific when it says you cant kill innocent people.

Define innocent. The quran says that those who dont beleive as you do are your enemies and are not innocent.
