No one has any explanation either for why we would think sex would pass away when God instituted it for His creation and mankind and gave it AT creation (animals only have the procreation aspect, mankind is the only creation that has it for pleasure), not after Eden.

Don't get mad at me for saying these things either :) These aren't my opinions, this is what God has done.

Would you mind posting the scripture for that?  Book, chapter and verse........please.   :)

Who is Jesus and what does He mean to you?

My brother, I met Jesus as the Holy Spirit in church on May 27th, 2001. I then met the Father in a dream (if it was a dream) later that night and right after that in the same dream (again, if it was a dream) I met Jesus Himself. This happened to me after a series of movings upon me where the Lord was drawing me to Himself without my realizing it. He brought to the place where I was finally willling to listen to Him for the first time in my life (I had previously identified myself as an atheist).

I was like Paul, formerly Saul - I went around trying to convince people God was a fig newton of their imagination, and Jesus was a myth and a waste of their time and intellect. I persecuted Christians specifically, with my words and attitude, persistently. But God, instead of knocking me off my horse, loved me with a love that I cannot express in words, though I try. My God, how He loves me. I have seen Him several times since and I always witness wherever I get the chance. I also, like Gandalf, seek to teach and ignite fire in the hearts of my fellow Believers for the glory of the Lord that His army would be mighty and bold upon the Earth.

Jesus is everything to me, He baptized me in the Holy Spirit after being saved for 6 weeks. I left everyone and everything I knew up to that point, so I could follow Jesus where He was leading me, and today I cannot say I am sorry. He has given me the blessed life. Jesus IS my life. I'm in His Word daily, watching faith-filled preaching usually daily, I minister to my clients and wherever the Lord gives me the unction and the door.

Jesus excites me, far beyond anything. He is my life; He is mine and I am His. Forever. Unashamedly. I have been used of Him to raise the dead, do miracles, perform healings, teach, exhort, edify. Oh how good He is. I know Whose I am and whom I am in Him.

I could go on, but you can see now I think.

Here you go, man: "Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

Putting that verse into action and applying it all throughout the Bible, since He is the same forever means that, since He is the One Who created all things (Colossians 1:16) and in Him we have redemption (Colossians 1:14) we must ask redemption from what? Redemption means to be bought back (the price was the blood of a righteous man, the Second Adam was the only One who could do it); what were we bought back from? From sin and the curse and being cut off from God the Father and so forth. So we were delivered out of the Kingdom of Darkness (Colossians 1:13), and if you are delivered out of something, then you are delivered INTO something, and the Scripture says into the Kingdom of His dear Son.

SO, we were redeemed BACK to our original state, which was sinless and free of the curse, and in place of the curse, we had the Blessing of the Lord. (Genesis 1:28) - it was the first thing God ever said to mankind and it set the stage for us to have everything and be just like Him on the Earth. Now why did Jesus redeem us BACK to our original state? Because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His ORIGINAL WILL was the Garden of Eden.

He said, this is what pleases Me, Man to be with Woman, married, in the Garden of Eden, under My Blessing (for in the beginning it is written that The BLESSED ONE blessed them, SAYING - and incidentally, the word bless literally means "empowered to prosper" for anyone who has not heard - which settles the issue of whether God wants you prosperous (along with numerous other Scriptures like Psalm 35:27 that the Lord DELIGHTS, or HAS PLEASURE in the prosperity of His servant)). They had direct fellowship with God, seeing Him; no hindrances, no blockages (and yet, God thought it good that in this perfect place where they get to be in His presence SEEING Him, they were married (and of course, would have enjoyed marital priveleges)).

So we've been redeemed BACK to this. I hope this is clear. You have been REDEEMED BACK to the ORIGINAL plan of God for all mankind, which was the Garden of Eden under the Blessing (and of course His favor (grace), which is present with the Blessing (the Blessing empowers you to prosper, the Favor (Grace) of God brings you the opportunities to prosper, and both are put into action or consequently deactivated the same way: your mouth (Proverbs 18:21 and Deuteronomy 30:19)).

SO, now BEING redeemed BACK to the ORIGINAL plan of God for all mankind, we WILL see in Heaven what we see in Eden.

It's the same sort of answer for healing; some choose to believe that despite no expiration date in the Scriptures anywhere, they think healing has somehow passed away (and the devil is laughing it up as he puts sickness and disease on God's children and they thinking that God cannot/will not heal them go to the world for solutions and endure suffering the same as the world and then endure the shame of having to try to defend God saying something about how God sometimes heals, sometimes doesn't or you never know what He's going to do...). BUT the reality is, if Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, then someone is lying, and it's not God!

For healing to pass away, Jesus would have to cease to exist! In Exodus 15:26 He says He is the Lord who heals you. This is old covenant; and why did they go through all the sacrifices for healings then if God didn't heal? Then Jesus comes walking in the fulness of the Blessing of the Lord with the anointing on and in Him with the Spirit of God inside Him and He demonstrates God's will for healing - never turning one person away for any reason (notice He heals everyone BEFORE He has forgiven all sins on the cross). And He left us saying that we would do ALL the same things He has done and even greater. And I have healed people of cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, conjunctivitis, abdominal strains, knee injuries, torn ACLs, spinal injuries, and all sorts of ailments and sicknesses, and yet not I, but the Spirit of Jesus in me, He did the works (just the same as Jesus said did I not heal ten? and then explains that while He did those things, it was the Spirit of the Father in Him that did the works). And so healing has not and will not ever pass away.

No, that is incorrect, it does not say marriage is nonexistent in Heaven. Let me explain:

When Jesus says they neither marry, this is referring to men (because men marry), and when He says nor are they given in marriage, this is referring to women (because women are given in marriage). HE DOES NOT SAY MARRIAGE CEASES TO EXIST. This is one point.

The second is, marriage was instituted IN Eden (God's will for all mankind - He is the same yesterday, today and forever - whatever you see in Eden therefore shall also be in Heaven, for both are God's perfect will for mankind, the only difference will be that we will physically be in Heaven as opposed to being on the Earth). Therefore marriage IS in Heaven. And for those who cannot get married in Heaven I am sure He has something up His sleeve. It is interesting that with no Scripture to back up angels being unable to have sex people automatically assume this must be the case (they seemed to know what to do in Genesis 6).

It doesn't take a lot of study to see what this statement is

whatever you see in Eden therefore shall also be in Heaven

John was shown the New Heaven and Earth along with The New Jerusalem coming down Rev 21&22

Therefore marriage IS in Heaven

Luke 20:34-36

34 Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage,  35 but those who are

considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given

in marriage;  36 for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God,

being sons of the resurrection.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
