Does anyone know how old Spock is now? With love-Kwik Spock was born in 2232. He was 34 at the start of the original series. He was 53 when hewas killed to save the Enterprise, and reborn on the Genesis planet. He was 61 when he took command of the Gorkon Initiative, to make peace with the Klingons. He was 137 when he left for Romulus to work for re-unification. He was 155 in the recent Star Trek film, when he was sent back in time. (Note of intrest,) "During his childhood, Spock was often teased by other children for being "not fully-Vulcan". He often sought his mother's care and advice in those days. He had a pet Sehlat called I'Chaya. At the age of seven, Spock took the Kash'Wah ordeal in the desert. During this test of survival, his life was saved by a mysterious cousin of his named Selek (who was, in fact, his future self from 2269). His agent talked him into trying out for the part of Piccard though somehow, convincing him that it would last more than a year. Ha! Over time, he came to love and embrace his SciFi persona and the fandom. Whenever Jonathan Frakes and Patrick Stewart stood next to each other in a shot, they put Stewart on an apple crate so that PIccard would not look so noticeably short next to Riker. Guest Butero
You would be surprised at some of the stories of people disliking the very thing that gave their career it's biggest boost. I once remember hearing how singer BJ Thomas didn't like the song "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head," and didn't want to sing it, and Sammy Davis Jr. resisted recording "Candy Man," his biggest hit. I think I can cut William Shatner some slack for not liking to play Captain Kirk. Even if he didn't like the role, he did a great job of faking it. Star Trek was a very good show, but I wasn't old enough to remember it being first run. I saw it in syndication during the 70s. Now I see the reruns on MeTV. I couldn't tell you how much time our television is tuned to that network.

I never saw that SNL clip where he cut up the franchise and the fans, but I did read how later he came to understand his error and apologized (whether that word got around or not, I don't know).
