The bible sayss be not decieved every good gift comes from God. Humor too comes from God. Often times the Holy Spirit gives me jokes for the people I work with, I know when he is inspiring me. Below is a joke the Holy Spirt gave me when Iasked him what to put on a Muslim forum as an introduction. yOu wil need to understand the story of adam and eve to get this joke. Summary paraphrase: A man cuts down a tree. With half of the wood he builds a fire and burns it up for warmth and cooking, the other half he fashions into an idol and bows down to it, "Save me, you are my god!" And if so, what does He find funny? Are we allowed to join in with Him? I do. And honestly, I'm almost convinced I've sensed a trace of 'sarcasm' in some of Jesus's words. Perhaps to the Pharisees at some point. But perhaps it's just the way I'm interpreting the passage. But in any case, I do believe He has a sense of humor. Have you ever seen the male Bluebird of Paradise dance to attract a mate? Too funny. I could go on about animals, but go out and rent Planet Earth DVD and you see plenty to laugh over.
