Love Will Wax Cold

As we research what scripture tells us about the last days, it is clear that sin will abound. 

 

There will be a time when many will fall away from their once held belief in Christ. 

 

Christianity will basically become outlawed. 

 

All we can do is depend more on God for guidance and strength, which will increase our personal faith in Him and secure our walk. 

 

Times will be very tough and the fence sitters will not make it.

 

 

Even Today On Worthy We Have Fence Sitters Claiming Christ As LORD

 

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:18

 

Yet They Mock The Prophets By Denying The Word Of God

 

He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. Luke 11:23

 

These Dear Poor Folk Are Already Busily Doing

 

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:4

This DECLINE IN LOVE in Christendom, has also spilled over into the unchurched world as well. All around you is EVIDENCE of this GROWING COLDNESS: Parents can't wait to get rid of their children, and children can't wait to get away from their parents. MOST marriages don't last for a lifetime, NO; they don't even last 5 years. Everyone is full of BLIND AMBITION to further their own career. EVERYTHING has come down to MONEY, and WHO HAS IT. Modern Love (so called), is just the willingness to overlook every sin, and "forgive" everybody, as long as they are NO IMMEDIATE threat to YOUR money, YOUR family, or YOUR plans. "Everybody is going to heaven", unless they personally offend or threaten YOU. MERCY, is now defined as the willingness to tolerate and justify every one of your family and friends, who is willing to make an excuse for their sin. Ye say, every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delighteth in them (Mal.2:17). The love that makes SELFLESS SACRIFICES, TAKES RISKS, and ENDURES ALL THINGS for the sake of God, Bible, and Truth; IS GONE from religious society AND YOU KNOW IT. True Heroism is only known by legend; there is no one "VALIANT FOR TRUTH" unless they can stand at the head of a cheering crowd.

WHO, I ask you, Dear Reader, REALLY shows a persistent care for your welfare who has NOTHING (in this world) TO GAIN from you? In the last 10 years, has ANY "stranger" newly entered your life as your BROTHER IN CHRIST: cared for you, prayed with you, given to you, and then left you with no one to repay but God? Of course, there has ALWAYS been "less love" than one could wish for; but I am telling you, that we are IN THAT DAY, that PARTICULAR DAY spoken of by Our Lord, when the love of many shall wax cold.

Hi everybody, even as the world's gets colder through lack of the love of God in people's hearts, our love doesn't have to disappear or get colder along with the world's. God is still bringing more souls out of worldliness to Himself, like He did with us. So let's be loving Christians through our daily lives with the people we encounter. Speaking of that I love each of you and hope you are all well, and I am glad that God led those who created this forum to create it, and then led us all to it.

That even the elect could almost fall for the strong persuasions

 

Used to raise a thumb and bum a ride without harm

Now, its' too dangerous to raise a thumb

 

Great grandfather used to leave the door open

Grandmother used to leave the door closed

Father used to leave the door closed and locked

I have multiple locks and alarm (and many more carnal minded have guns)

 

Used to give to whomever aksed

Now, I've seen them making more $$$ than me, and it's harder for me to give.

 

Of course there is a lack of love.  There is always a lack of love ... when there is an increase in SIN!
