It's best to remain anonymous here but still makes mention of how someone here has changed your life or encouraged you.

I'll start:

I've been very ill for awhile. While people have been so kind to pray me, one person went way beyond that and sent me a beautiful framed painting which shows Jesus walking along a lonely beach, carrying in His strong arms a sick and frail woman who can no longer walk herself.

The picture says it all.....

"Come to me all ye who are weary and I shall give you rest...."

That took an enormous sacrifice of giving but every morning, when I wake up in pain, the first thing I see by my bed is that beautiful painting staring at me and reminding me that Jesus is carrying me no matter what.

I have had wonderful people here share their hearts and lives with me. I met my very best friend on here. Sharing your life willingly and lovingly has been the greatest gift I have received here and many have blessed me. Since I have been on here I have grown in confidence and in my love for our Lord Jesus. I think they are great gifts.

Love

Faithie

I have met so many kind people here. But one person really goes above and beyond...I know I can always talk to them when I am having a hard time...and I know that I will get the best advice and prayer too. I have been helped through some pretty tough times that hit my family this year...emotional turmoils to say the least...but this person calms me and comforts me.

we were having a hard time this Christmas...perscriptions/ and other bills piling up....and my hubby got laid off...well this person provided us with the means to purchase a nice turkey and all the fixings to have a holiday dinner. I just love this person so much. I know the Lord has taught me alot through this person...I never asked for help before or was very good accepting it...This person is a light shining and I just know that Jesus is smiling

Love and Blessings,

Angel

There are so many who have been so nice and encouraging. I would say specifically Hippo Beth. She is so amazing, and though I haven't seen her in a while, when I first joined I was in the ladies forum, and she PMd me a very encouraging note. We wrote back and forth and she promised to be a support to me and I to her. It was a while later that I found out she was 14! How amazing are our teens here. They are so insightful, and wise. God bless all of you. Many have touched me. GBU

When I come to Worthy, is like coming home as this is the place I feel so comfortable and happy. This in itself is encouraging as I will be sharing Eternity with you all one day. What a pleasure and a privilege.

There are a few people on Worthy who have touch my life in special ways, one is my dearest friend who I share on a regular basis and how encouraging she is with words and some wonderful gifts she has sent half way across the world. Thanks mate, you are the best. I was also touched by another at Worthy who gave me so much spiritual encouragement, how God used this person to speak to me and minister to me, thanks bro. You will never know how much your encouragement and your sense of humour meant to me. See you in Eternity with Jesus. And my dear sweet lil girl, who is so full of life and the desire to serve God. You give me so much by your wonderful personality and your willingness to share what God is doing in your life. Thanks dear sweet Beth.

Shazza

I agree with all my brothers and sisters so far. This place called Worthy is a place of unconditional love. I have had prayer and seen answers to prayers. There are kind acts everyday. It just seems natural here.

I can honestly say I feel very deep loyalty toward this board and love the brethren (male and female) with deep agape love.

The ones who've been here awhile, I feel like they're my own family and I'd do anything for them. Seriously.

I am so grateful I have the fellowship of people like those who come here. Ya'll are so precious to me.

I truly found some people who will stand up for the truth ! :emot-highfive::)

Which in this day and age is very unpopular ! :P

Yes it's easy to stand up for the sweet easy and loving things found in the word! :P

But the truth that sometimes offends, not my opinions, which may be worthless, but quoted scripture; it's really something special to me that someone will stand up for the Word even when it means they will face :P:P:) critic-sizems!

Jesus is a friend that will stick closer than a brother; God bless those who follow His example!

Agape in our Lord Jesus Christ ! :24::P

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
