Stephen Hawkings is no match for our God.  He needs to surrender and find out what all the excitement is about Jesus!

     Perhaps you have never read one of my testimonies but I am a miracle.....a living testimony with 4 doctors.medical records & pet scans to prove it.......Stage 4 INCURABLE cancer.........sure I had months of chemo/radiation but it was only turning up in other places during the process according to the pet scans & then one day "POOF"........gone,no evidence of cancer(they thought the machine was faulty)........the GI doctor did a scope & said if he didn't know better that I had no surgery he would attest that the tumor was surgically removed,it appeared to be "cut out"

    Yeah,,,,,I saw a miracle........my oncologist calls me 'the miracle".................Glory to God!             With love-in Christ,Kwik

 

As far as Hawkings goes.......well,I have heard him speak on many specials & interviews & for such an intelligent man he seems to lack common sense

Amen, God does still do miracles, the very salvation of ones soul is a miracle because we just don't deserve it.  It is all about God's grace toward us.

Amen! Those who do not yet believe may scoff or try to explain miracles away, but those of us blessed by God with a miracle or seeing a miracle before our eyes know what they have experienced.

Not an answer but as a scientist I look on these words and I'm kinda saddened.

For me the wonder is in the idea that God is in every part of the system, making it work right now.

So the fact there is the gravity, yup that's God first cause but God also doing it right now.

God the sustainer...poor Stephen he's looking for miricals and they are right in front of him.

I agree let's pray for the enemy it's not to late as long as life exists.

I don't think God is irrelevant to many scientists, even in assessment of evidence.  They are investigating the universe to discover mechanisms and explanations that are not supernatural, but that does not mean they are not cognizant of His reality and do not harbor a sense of awe.  You need look no further than the case of Francis Collins.

Preconceived notions are very deleterious to good science.  If God is everywhere, then think of it as a math equation where you reduce things to their least common denominator.  Like 2x * 5x = 10x. No matter what "x" is, it does not impact the equation...like supernatural does not impact the natural world.
