Hi Rifkah,

That would have been a frightening experience for you today. I don`t get out much also, but for lack of strength. But it sort of hits you in the face, the busyness & lots of strangers etc. Now we all can get funny thoughts in our heads, from many sources or what we have read, seen or tablets taken. Even sleeping tablets can make you feel funny the next day. Thus said if something like that happens, sing a song that encourages you about Jesus, or say a line from God`s word. We need to put in good thoughts otherwise these other ones will control us.

`...we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.`  (2 Cor. 10: 5)

`Lord, I pray for my sister here, who the enemy would try & frighten & confuse with wrong thoughts. I ask that you strengthen her to be able to replace those thoughts with some from you. In Jesus` precious name.`

Blessings, Marilyn.

Hi Rifkah,

Not quite sure what you mean by `I`m all up for the eternal purpose in your interest section!` Does that mean you are ready to move from this ole world & begin fresh with no pain, sorrow etc?

Blessings, Marilyn.

I don't think there are many people that understand what "psychosis" means,,,,,and you certainly do not have to begin explaining or divulging anything that you do not feel comfortable with,,,,,,so I hope it is a little comforting to know that I really do not believe that people are intentionally alienating you or rejecting you because of your state of mind......many people simply do not know how to help, what to say ,how to act.......it is their ignorance or their fear or their not understanding....not you   And then you have to always consider that it may be a delusion or hallucination,as you say"You cannot trust your own thoughts"

My heart goes out to you,deeply.........I cannot begin to know the courage it must take you to step out into society to do the things you did the other day ,what is very simple tasks for most people,,,,,for people that deal with what you are going through can seem like a world of sheer terror,,,,,,I am very sorry that you are going through this at this time, truly

Rifkah, you said that you are troubled with what Gods Word has to say about this condition,is it something you would like to talk about,,,,,perhaps that would be a good start, hopefully you can find some Comfort & Peace, that is what we should get from our Father of Comfort,,,,,,that is what our Loving Father wants to give us

Do you have a local church that you attend,a pastor to talk with someone to help you wiith spiritual guidance ,support, prayer?I believe you can benefit greatly with help from a good professional Christian Counseling or psychiatrist.......God Bless you ,you are in my prayers                                  With love-in Christ,Kwik

Blessings, Marilyn.

I'm not considering a sharp self made exit Marilyn but I have in the past.

I just mean I'd like something to give me a purpose to do.

Feel so useless.

This is a really sweet reply thanks.

I'm not looking for sympathy just a little understanding.

My church pretty much cast me out, haven't had the confidence to find a new one.

They believed it was demonic and didn't want me around.

I have a psychiatrist, they dole out drugs that make me sleepy and fat but quieten things down.

The members of the church said unkind things about my changed appearance and used that as further evidence I was harbouring evil.

Meh. Don't think it's just psychosis as they could be pretty mean to depressed people too. Just ignorance I guess.

Part of the deal is social withdrawal so I'm pretty raw when people say things and don't have a great drive to be in company.

God Bless you sweet Sister in Christ,,,,,,,forgive them, they know not what they do,,,,,,,,,,,if it is any consolation, though it is not easy to know or relate to what you are going I can tell you that I understand that it hurts,,,,,,,,,to be shunned & treated so badly hurts,I'm sorry that is what you found from the ones that should have embraced you with love & compassion, they need prayers

Be encouraged, you are loved & welcomed here with open arms, not out of pity but because Jesus loves you.........He loves us beyond compare,He never turns His back and never lets you go.....................no one is here to judge you,to diagnose you or to fix you, just to love you as you are      God will do the fixing, our hope is in Christ,,,,,,,there is deliverance for physical, emotional, mental & spiritual bondage.....in Gods Perfect Time,His Perfect Will,His Perfect Plan,His Perfect Grace & Love..........you remain in my heart & prayer

                                                                                                                                                  With love-in Christ,Kwik

Try not to worry or get depressed that the medications having made you gain weight, thank God things have quieted down for you........hopefully after your body adjusts you will not be so sleepy.I completely understand about gaining weight from Rx's when I went through a cancer ordeal,,,,,,still not happy about weight gain but it's not a permanent thing.......mental & physical health has to be the priority, not appearance,,,,,,,I think,as women,it is very difficult to deal with but it is something that cannot be helped,,,,,,,,,,shame on anyone who looks on the outside anyway,I bet you are beautiful!!!!!!!

You really do have a gift for writing soothing words.

Erm, you know 1% of the population is schizophrenic then more have psychosis.

So there is probably people in your church who suffer like me.

Worrying that something so common is not understood.

Hi Rifkah,

Now you have asked a most important question. Many people go through their lives doing stuff & often self centred, & there you have asked the special question that is close to God`s own heart. He has made us for a purpose. The most important one is to know Him & that takes patience & appreciation of what is around us. Every day I try to look & say what I see & appreciate what I do have.

Then there is the `purpose,` of doing. Now you know we all have giftings. You rightly recognised Kwik`s great gift for `writing soothing words.` We read Kwik`s writings all over Worthy & she so encourages people. Now she has been laid up & also going through grief, but there she is, reaching out to others helping them. Now I wonder what your gift is. often we don`t recognise what it is but others will see it.

My suggestion is to start out doing something you like, & then use that to help someone. Or if people are difficult to relate to at this time, then help an animal. They are always appreciative. We all need to reach out, for then into our heart comes `purpose.` God reached out to us & we do the same to Him & others. It is a gradual thing that will grow as you grow emotionally stronger.

All the best, & please share how you are going. Marilyn.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
