so .. to add to my "what the" ..

am I right in saying that the sooner the Muslim faith or belief is done away with .. the better off we are ??

Yes, one day the Muslim faith will be no more.  When Jesus returns all false religions will cease to be and Jesus will rule from Israel as the Messiah.  That's what the Bible teaches.

The world would be better off without Islam. Islam is a disease; it is a cancer in our world. Islam is a terroristic religion.  If Mohammed were alive today, he would be leading ISIS, or one of the prisoners at Gitmo.

It is possible that the Gog/Magog war spoken of in Ezekiel 38-39 is caused by a coalition of Muslim nations that attempt to destroy Israel and God rescues Israel and destroys all but one-sixth of that army.  It will be a supernatural destruction that will awe the world and will be the final defeat of Islam.  That is just one view that war.  Others see it as including Muslim nations, but see it as including other nonMuslim nations.   Either way, it is a catastrophic destruction and the world will be forced to recognize God's existence.

I have to add too, just to clarify - I believe that Islam is the worst of all the World's major religions because Hinduism and Buddhism date back to the pre-Christ era when everybody (except for the Jews) worshipped false gods. Islam however is a newer post-Christian religion and was specifically devised to destroy the message of the cross and tamper with prophecy. I'm not not praising Hinduism and Buddhism because they are still false beliefs that do not lead to salvation (and technically are Satanic I guess) but they were devised in more innocent times when men had some excuses for not knowing any better.

Mohammed created Islam in the full light of Christianity and deliberately perverted both Old Testament and New Testament scripture.

I've been putting a lot into some history for the past few weeks and I'm not sure Mohammed did it.     If you get into the history of the time, it seems that the women that took care of Mohammad as he was growing up considered him demon possessed about half the time...

Add to that when he had that first experience with the entity that dictated it all to him, he was so terrified he thought the thing was a demon.....   it was his wife who convinced him that it was an angel and he was a prophet.....   it may well be that he was just  taken in like so many others across history....     Whole thing was and has been  directed by the devil himself......   another poor soul that listened to the woman in his life.

So how do we deal with a billion and a half people that have been terribly deceived; especially three hundred million of them that want to cut our heads off.

It's funny you should say that because when Muslims are questioned about whether there is any evidence that Mohammed received revelations from Allah, they confirm that Mohammed's wife Kadhija was witness to Mohammed receiving some of his revelations. She was there when Allah's angel spoke to him, therefore Mohammed was not making it up because he had a reliable third party eye-witness to confirm what he said.

Yet according to Muslim scripture a woman's evidence is unreliable - the witness of four women are equal to that of one man. So Islam actually destroys itself through its own arguments.

According to all Ive read, he was alone in a cave when the demon first appeared to him. He came home frightened and told his wife. She then convinced him it was an angel.

As you said, a womans opinion is worth less than a man (Ive heard half that of a man). So why her opinion on the mattered more than his, who knows.

Well then it takes a real God fearing man to set things right

unfortunately man seems to fall for satans trap as well.

But there are good men and thus good women and children, when good honorable christian faith is placed in God and His plan of salvation

through Gods only begotten son Christ Jesus.

Ephesians ch5 25-29

A good christian teacher (Bishop): 1 Timothy 3:2

1It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do. 2An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3not addicted to wine not violent,no greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome not covetous;

4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence.

5 for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?;

6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same temptation as the devil.

7Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

-----------------------------------------

By her falling for temptation, then tempting him, then him tempting her, tempting him...

and than the whole blame business starts up again. Happens when the first order of direction becomes corrupted.

-----------------------------------------

God order is correct

1)God

2)man

3)woman

4)children

Each having received good communicated faith, wisdom from their superiors following up to number 1) God

----------------------------------------------

Around Christmas time and on this past December 24, P.B.S. was showing a documentary on the Islam faith, trying to give

information of the beginnings of that faith. They explained the origins of Mohamed in a very favorable light.)

Also at this time PBS was also showing a documentary about Jesus the man kind of insulting really to the christian faith

but made to look very historically sound in its findings.

About Islam

Excerps from what have read form book: " Larson's book of World Religions and Alternative Spirituality."p268-276

Islam began with the mystic vision of a nondescript camel driver named Ubu'L -Kassim (who became known as Muhammad).

For six month he had been in solitary meditation in a cave at the door of Mount Hira near Mecca.

Had he not  married a widow ( business woman) named Khadijah, fifteen years his senior, he might have spent his life on caravan journeys.

Khadijah's wealth gave Ubu'l Kassim (Mohammed) the time he needed for ascetic reflection.

Mohammad  (Ubu'l-Kassim) was born in a"D 570 in Mecca. He was yet a baby when his father died

and his mother passed away when he was six. Abu-Talib, an uncle, raised the young lad and

took him on  lengthy trips to Egypt and through out the Near east. During these travels

Muhammad engaged in lively conversations with Jews and Christians.

From these encounters he learned the theological concepts that where later to influence his teachings.

In Muhammad's time the Arabian peninsula was populated by wandering tribes that practiced various forms of polytheistic idolatry.

The pantheon of deities they worshiped included angels, demons(djimn) and a supreme god known as Allah.

Ubu'l -Kassim seemed an unlikely challenger to confront such a firmly entrenched animistic religious system. He was afflicted by

a strange disorder that caused him to foam at the mouth and fall into unconscious trances,

Christians might well wounder in retrospect whether such phenomena reflect the symptoms of demonic possession

as represented in the Bible,

Muhammad himself questioned whether the seizures where divine or devilish, but his wife encouraged him to ignore any such considerations.

Today perhaps some would say that Mohammed suffered epilepsy attacks.

According to Islamic tradition, at forty years of age he entered the Hira cave and was confronted by a being who identified himself as the angel Gabriel.

"Proclaim!" Gabriel declared, choking Muhammad into submission.

"Proclaim in the name of the Lord the Creator who created man from the clot of blood."

During periodic return visits to Hira, the frequency of revelation increased. what he saw and heard was summarized in what became Islam's

sacred book, the Koran (or Qu'ran, meaning "recitation"). Over a twenty -two year period, Mohammed memorized all 78,000 words of the Koran's 114

chapters and transmitted its teachings orally (he was illiterate).

Although Christianity shares some ideals with Islam, the two faiths differ on most major theological issues.

Muslims view all other religions as satanic expressions of polytheism.

Allah alone is to be praised and worshiped.

Muhammad originally prayed facing Jerusalem and gave jews an opportunity to submit to his spiritual authority.

when they refused, he persecuted them severely.

Christians must be opposed, violently if necessary.

In the eyes of a Muslim, if Jesus were God, it would have been unjust for God to have punished His own nature.

All Muslims have a sacred mission: to bring the entire world

under Allah's dominion by force of persuasion.

The God Mohammad preached was a transcendant ebing who was both lawgiver and divine arbiter.

Mohammad's theologiy proclaimmed the Day of Judgment with severe punishment for the unbeliever.

This harsh warning of accountability was contrasted with sensual heaven

where green meadows, rivers of wine, and beautiful virgins awaited the faithful.

In the begginings of the religion, few converts accepted Mohammads message because  of Mohammad's

denunciation of idol worship threatened the livelihood of Meccan businessmen.

Those following Muhammad were stoned and beaten.

In ad 622 Mohammad received  a vision warning of mortal danger.

He escaped toward the oasis of Yathrib, 250 miles away, became known as the Hegira ('migration") or "tlight").

This event marks the beginning of the Moslem era.

Later the name Yathrib was changed to Mdinat al-Naabi (Medina),

the " city of the Prophet". second only to Mecca as a Muslim spiritual center.

To raise funds for his spiritual quest, Muhammad sanctioned plundering expeditions that raided caravans.

Even during his native land's traditional month of peace, his followers mercilessly attacked innocent citizens.

During the tme when Muhammad ruled as a king and prophet, he forged the Islamic concept of jhad(exertion), the "holy war"

that advocates military ventures in God's name.

those who died in battle were promised immediate transition into paradise.

In 618, Muhammad led a force of ten thousand men toward Mecca and in a bloodless coup gained control of the city.

Within ten years of his Hegira, all Arabia was under his control.

In 632 not long after his triumphal entry into Mecca, Mohammad died.

One of his early disciples, Abu Bakr, was chosen as successor, establishing the system of releigious leaders

known as caliphs.

Filled with religious zeal, Muslim armies spread the message of Islam to India, across North Africa.

and into Spain.

Had it not been for the Battle of Tours in 722, all Europe might have succumbed to the message of the Koran.

A capital  was established in Baghdad, and the caliph who ruled from there was the most powerful man on earth and headed a regime spanning three continents.

The Islamic empire was to last for a thousand years.

Arabs developed the concept of algebra, and their skills in architecture helped them  devise

the pointed arch that grace Europe's lofty cathedrals.

Sugar, paper, apricots and rice were introduced to the west.

Constantinople became the headquarters of the Ottoman Empire in 1453,

which endured until Arab power diminished in the twentieth century.

God did promise to make of Ismael's offspring a great nation (Genesis 16:9-11;17:20,21:1318,25:12-18).

Their ascent to world influence might well be viewed as a fulfillment  of biblical prophecy.

About Islamic terrorists, Many  Muslim leaders from around the world condemned the terrorosts acts, arguing that the perpetrators

had twisted the concepts of jihad to persue political ends. But still many of the estimated 6 million  Muslim-Americans understand the anger

of their devout  brethren who live in countries where U.S political , military, or economic might has changed traditional cultures.

Small numbers of misguided fundamentalist in all major faiths  believe they are taking matters  of divine justice into  their own hands when they use violence and destruction in an effort to punish sinners.

But Christians shouldn't let the hatred of a few stop them from showing the love of Jesus to Muslims in their midst.

Though Allah is believed to be omniscient, merciful, and compassionate,

the Muslim holds him in such transcendent awe

that he is virtually unapproachable.

The message of John 3:16 that "God so love the world" is an alien concept to Muslims.

God is to be feared and strictly obeyed,

but the attributes cannot be personally experienced in man's heart.

Allah demands a codified system of submission,

but offers no immediate forgiveness of sin in return.

The certainty of salvation known by the Christian (John 3:36; 5:24)

is but a vague hope to the Muslim who awaits the Day of Judgment

when works, not grace,

will determine his destination in the next life.

Christians cannot accept the authority of the Koran because it seeks to

supplant the Bible.

you would be better off reading the koran in chronological order and skim through the first two books of bukhari's hadiths.   Then read "Reliance of the Traveller" which is a certified printing of Shaira Law.

it is my understanding that almost no one agreed with Mohammad that Allah was the supreme arabic god.   That is why they ran him out of Mecca.    Allah was the god that his family had worshiped.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
