Why does god punish the innocent and not the guilty? It is not a childs fault what their parents do.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You are thinking that you know what inocent means. But you don't. You are guilty if you were concieved in lust which every one except CHRIST was. And the only one who was without sin because he chose not to sin against HIS FATHER was treated hatefully and despised and killed by those who have no knowledge and no faith in the FATHER. Wheather you like it or not you choose to stand behind one or the other. Because there is only two paths life and death honor or dishonor. The LORD has actually created you for one or the other. We don't know which way you will go until it's all over. So we tell you the truth and hope for you that you will be allowed to understand.

You know, I realised that it isnt about trying to understand why god does what he does, because he is above us. I want to accept christ, I dont understand why I have such problems in faith, as I was born a Christain and baptized, and I have recieved first communion. I've never actually seen any bad things come out of the belief and love of god, in fact, it gives something to look formward to and to motivate them. I want to love and accept God but I fear it may be too late. I am young but I have lived an emmotionally hard life. I find it hard to open myself up and give my love freely. How can I accept Jesus as my savior? It is easy enough for me to denounce satan as I have never felt of him in a good way.

Tell the LORD that you are sorry and ask HIM to forgive you. Then ask HIM for HIS SPIRIT.

I try, I try so hard but there is still so much sin in my soul. I cannot seem to recieve faith. I ask, I believe that there is no other way that anything could ever exist if there was no god, science cannot even explain those things, but I cant seem to let myself love.

Then It sounds to me like you need to get rid of that sin. It is as simple as what I said in my last post. Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you.

Being born into a Christian family doesnt make you a believer in Christ, or save you. Being baptized without understanding His sacrifice or believing in Him also doesnt save you, especially if it was an infant baptism. Communion doesnt save you either. I speak from first hand experience. I was born into a Lutheran family, baptized as infant and was confirmed as a teen. I took communion too. I never understood Jesus. I thought He was merely a man. That doesnt give you salvation. Salvation comes from Jesus alone.

Jesus is the Son of God, part of the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are born sinners. Jesus came to earth to pay that penalty for our sins. He died and was resurrected. If you believe in Jesus, His life, His death and His resurrection, that is all you need for salvation. Confess Him and beleive in Him. Submit to Him, repent of your sins. It is easy to be saved.

Romans 10:9-10

9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

I want to love and accept God but I fear it may be too late. I am young but I have lived an emmotionally hard life. I find it hard to open myself up and give my love freely. How can I accept Jesus as my savior? It is easy enough for me to denounce satan as I have never felt of him in a good way.

Muktuk, it is never too late to accept Jesus, never as long as you live. Why wait though, for that relationship with Him is wonderful. You will find many here who have lived rough lives, and have found peace in the Lord. Once you accept Jesus, He will change you. The Lord molds us into what He wants. We are to live our lives for Him. He will open your heart. Once you are spiritually alive in Him, your life will never be the same. Praise the Lord.

Do you believe that Jesus existed and is who HE says He is? Do you beleive He died for our sins? If we had to be perfect before becoming born again, none of us would be saved. Pray to God, repent of your sins. If you beleive in Jesus, tell God that.

Muktuk: You said you were 'trying to believe....' That's what belief is! You say you have asked Jesus Christ to save you....then He has! Look, He said He would take all who came to Him asking for mercy.

Now let's suppose you're the devil, and your 'job' is keep people from God. What's the first thing you'd do with people who came to God for salvation? RIGHT!!! You'd go and start whispering in their ears that "It didn't work." "God doesn't want to save YOU." "Your sins are too great." "You don't really have faith." "You've committed the unpardonable sin...." In short you would lie to them to try to convince them they're not saved. THAT'S THE DEVIL'S JOB. But the Scripture tells us that he is a liar and the father of lies..... So whatever the devil says to you, is a lie.

Pay no heed to the lie, and believe God, Who is true!

Actually, I only read that he wanted to accept Jesus, not that he had accepted Jesus. Maybe I missed something?

Muktuk, who is Jesus to you? This is important to know.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
