Southern Baptists call for integrated churches

All denominations are joining Rick Warren and the Pope/Catholics and Muslims. We are truly seeing prophecy fulfilled.

Needed to read before posting.... I thought all churches were integrated...any in the south that I have been in were. Yet some on both sides I dare say would preference it segregated..no??

I see nothing wrong with racially integrated churches. I think that's scriptural.  I also don't see that "as in the days of Noah" has anything to do with this story.

um... that article didn't say anything about denominations merging.  But about ending racial division.

Think of this Jesus quote about the end times as one of His parables.

Why did Jesus speak in parables? So only the wise would understand.

To understand further why Jesus spoke in parables is to understand

the holy land at the time of Christ... a holy land under the control of

of a pagan world empire and Herodian dynasty.

Interestingly, from the time of Herod's siege of Jerusalem when Rome

declared him king [37BC] to the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension

of Jesus Christ [33AD ?] was a period of time very similar to the 70 year

Babylonian captivity. We are now in a similar repeat historical pattern.

Jesus' quote about the "days of Noah" is about a sign of the end of the age.

We are living in the end of the age.

Integration... at least in the USA... began in earnest after WW2 when Truman decreed

the integration of the US military which was accomplished under Eisenhower who also

began the integration of the public schools. It has been an on-going process politically

and socially for the past almost 70 years.
