Our tiny 10 year old grand daughter has something better. She has 2 older brothers who are strong Christians that track her internet activity and after school activities.

I think it is a good idea ,anything it takes..........it is not even that parents don't trust their own kids but  who they are interacting with may not be trustworthy & they are just too inexperienced in life to have good judgement.................even the wise, the very street smart & the experienced get duped,,,,,,,

Well if you really knew me I was indicating I have been duped  but also

the fact that I can laugh at this indicates I have never been harmed in my person by such :)

I can see this as a useful tool. Parents should know their childrens online activities. There are a lot of good things with the internet and a lot of bad. and not just bad people but bad ideas and information too parents should definately know what sites their children go on and who they talk to etc.

As with everything these days, it can be useful to good parents who want to protect their kids, but it's bad because it's sure to be abused by bad parents, spouses, etc.,  Everyone's internet activity has been tracked for years.  It's just that now parents have the opportunity to do it, too.

Do you know that smart tv's can listen in and record personal conversations and store them? Sort of creepy...
