I sure would have wished you would have been in Baghdad( Office of Transitional Justice) with my commander as he interviewed person after person who was tortured (and showed us the scars literally) or had relatives tortured and killed by this psycho you support. There were no WMDs found because they are all buried away in the vast Iraqi desert or shipped off to other terror supporting nations aka SYRIA.

Before you start spouting all self righteous it might behoove you to know Steff is currently in Iraq working on Gas Turbines that power most of Iraq's current infrastructure. He's been there for about a month and a half now putting his money where his mouth is.

I'm his next door neighbor and I can tell you this, you'd be hard pressed to find a more dedicated family man and patriot anywhere. The man is more generous than anyone I know, and stands up for his beliefs whether he get ostracized for them or not.

The statement you used above about WMD being shipped out of Iraq has no basis in fact, and was hand fed by the current administration with no hard evidence. Given the current administration's record I'm inclined to believe they are lying.

He went back over to Iraq since he needed the money. His father has Alzheimers and his Mom is finishing her college degree since his father can no longer work. Couple that with a mortgage to pay and a wife and child to support and he needed the high pay that working over in Iraq offered.

He's doing well last I heard from him and is almost ready to come home. He told me he can't tell me where he's working at because of security reasons.

I've been mowing his lawn for him while he's been gone but hopefully he'll be back soon.

I do know he checks the boards when he can but I'm not sure he's allowed to post because of security reasons.

To those who think we were lied to about WMD's, remember that even the senators and congressmen and women who are speaking against the whole mission believed that there were WMD's in Iraq under the former president, and spoke publicly about doing something about it. And now that we did, they are complaining because we did. Remember that almost everytime the "inspectors" were going to inspect a facility, they would be delayed for some reason or another. Remember that Sadaam Insane gased his own people in an effort to rid his country of "infidels". Remember that Sadaam and his demon seed (sons) were cruel, torturous, and down right evil to their own countrymen. Say what you want, but the press is not telling the whole story either.

What concerns me is the real reason he decided to invade Iraq. Sure the muslim problem would have gotten out of hand and did with Bin Laden. But why Iraq? There are lots of torturous dictators out there that need to be deposed.

Necessity. In one aspect it is a strategic location. With Iran to the east and Syria to the west. Another is that alot of "insurgents" that is talked about on TV are really from Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. The media is not really talking about that one. And the weapons have been of French, German, and of course Russian, but French and German? hmmmmmmm.
