Hello bopeep1909.

Does redemption, the absolution of sin, leave the Holy Spirit as whole as it first was introduced into a person?

Or does a more truth-filled person have a more intact Holy Spirit than a lukewarm truthful person?

In other words, does the degree of one's truth, faith, and unconditional love bear any degree of fruit at the time of redemption?

Just wanting to know.

The Holy Spirit seals us. He dwells in us. How well anyone listens to Him is a different matter.

The day of redemption is when a Christian gets their resurrected body.

Thank you bopeep1909.

Sorry to ask these questions, but I am a bit confused.

As an imperfect Christian, when I die, is my spirit/soul judged?

Does redemption, the absolution of sin, leave the Holy Spirit as whole as it first was introduced into a person?

Raven,

It seems that you are not very clear about the indwelling Holy Spirit. When a sinner obeys the Gospel (repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ) he is not only saved by grace, not only forgiven for all his sins,  but also receives the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Since the Holy Spirit is God, He always remains who He is, but He transforms the one within whom He dwells.  He also "seals" the saint so that the saint is guaranteed a final complete redemption (body, soul, and spirit).

Or does a more truth-filled person have a more intact Holy Spirit than a lukewarm truthful person?

Now you are on the subject of the "filling" or "fulness" of the Holy Spirit.  To be "filled" with the Spirit is to be fully controlled by the indwelling Holy Spirit in every aspect of your life. That also means to be fully controlled by the Word of God (Truth).  So, while the two go hand-in-hand, they are not identical.  As you obey the Word of God, you are filled (empowered) by the Spirit of God to move forward in your Christian walk.

In other words, does the degree of one's truth, faith, and unconditional love bear any degree of fruit at the time of redemption?

The completeness of your salvation is not dependent upon your performance but is determined solely by the finished work of Christ on the Cross and in His resurrection. The Lord will give you complete and total redemption purely because of His grace and His power.

As an imperfect Christian, when I die, is my spirit/soul judged?

Since we are righteous (justified) before God the moment we believe on Christ, God sees you as perfect as Christ.  That is called "imputed righteousness".  It may sound paradoxical, but you are perfect even while you are imperfect.  But that perfection is Christ's perfection, placed upon you as "the robe of righteousness".

However our works will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ.  While our salvation is secure (hence the "sealing") our works must be judged, and according to the spiritual quality of our works, we will receive rewards.  I trust this helps to clarify what God has done for you in and through Christ.
