We are living in a world of deception. When I wanted to research a subject for school, I had encyclopedias. Today with photo-shopping you simply cannot tell what is real. The newspapers and the evening news reported the news. Today you can find a news agency that supports your beliefs to give a very biased slant on any subject. How will the history books of the future be written? Who will be the heroes that are portrayed? Think about the subjects of today that have made headlines, they will one day be taught to our grandchildren and great grandchildren.

That is definitely true.Satan is feeding this world a banquet of deception. The sad part is that many are buying it.I feel kind of sad for new parents and the challenges they have with the evil world we live in.It has to get worse before it gets better. It will get better at the second coming when Jesus comes back to earth. But I believe that the very young children will go in the rapture so they will be protected from the horrible judgment and wrath to come in the tribulation. And from the way things are going that might not be too far away. Seyi, When you do an image search for animals, you get things that have been altered by photo shop. If you have never seen the original animal to base the false photos on, you are deceived. Women all the time photo shop their photos to have amazing and vivid blue or green eyes, make it a little blurred to not show age (I personally like that one) It is deception when used to attract or lure a mate. If you don't know what's truth, you are deceived. I know these are small things.. but as the years go on it's more and more acceptable. The frog in the cold water that is heated up slowly never jumps out, it gets to boiling and is dead, never sensing the danger. Men don't know if a woman they are attracted to was born a woman anymore. If it's like that now, just think what the future holds for our young ones. When I was a young girl, dying the hair a different color than what you were born with was not encouraged and even frowned upon.. hair color is so not an issue, but that hasn't been all that long ago. Our culture has become accepting to so many things. On Facebook, false "News" and gossip is constantly posted and it spreads like wildfire. I remember wanting a toy as a child and getting the toy that was advertized. When my daughter was young, the ads for toys were so hyped up and the product was never "as good as they said." Not if it's just for fun (like some of our posters do!) But if it's done to deceive someone then it would be. Think of those on social media who photo shop their images to look thinner. THAT is lying.

We are living in a world of deception. For Christians, the greater concern should be spiritual deception within and outside the churches. Heresies, false doctrines, and false practices abound, and our greatest concern for young believers should be sound doctrine. The proliferation of modern Bible versions is an attack on sound doctrine, and Christians must investigate this for themselves. To suggest that the Bible was not really good enough until about 150 years ago is a lie from Satan. The foundation of all modern versions are Gnostic corruptions. These are not opinions but facts which have been suppressed, while propaganda to promote modern versions has been overwhelming. The issue is that if you don't really have the true Word of God in your hands, how can you be sure of anything? To suggest that the last twelve verses of Mark, for example, are not really Scripture is to cast doubt upon the doctrine of Divine inspiration and preservation. To suggest that the incident of the woman taken in adultery is not Scripture is to cast doubt on the entire Gospel of John. These are just a couple of examples of Satanic deception in the spiritual realm.
