Blessings George......

That's great (welcomes over 3 yrs old purged),,,,,,they would not be missed and anything to make a computer go faster is fantastic!!!!! It was a good guess but I came here in 2013,not yet 3 years..............1000 posts are a lot(me thinks-lol)        Hmmmm? Can the count simply be tallied wrong, perhaps it accidentally changed, yet the posts are actually still there? Any way of knowing that?                 Love,Kwik

Your code looks like: <div style="margin: 0 0 0 10px">Indented code</div>

There was also a way to preview your post before posting.  That is also missing.

I added a bunch of buttons to the toolbar.  Indent -- Cut - Copy - Paste functionality.  As well as a background.

Apparently the preview will not return since the editor itself displays exactly how the post will look as soon as you post it according to the forum software site.

Well I can tell you that this is not true all the time, as I have had things appear one way in the edit window and appear differently once posted.

I am also still seeing problems with quoting where it does something weird with the quote feature, putting what I am wanting to quote in the middle of other quotes rather than at the bottom.  I have to delete what is below it, but in doing so I can't find any way to delete the quote box the extraneous quotes were in,     I can't find a way to delete the quote boxes at all.

And THANK YOU for the return of the indent button.  I was just going to ask for that.  :D

Honestly I don't know.

It looks like you can put in something with the Source (left top corner) option. Let me see if I can indent this!

Yep it can take standard HTML code. For example I did a --

<div style="margin: 0 0 0 10px">And placed the text within this</div>

The way code works in HTML is the number go clock wise.  0px (TOP 0 pixel) 0px (RIGHT 0 pixel) 0px (Bottom pixels) 10px (Left I indented 10 pixels.)

It looks as though it takes standard HTML coding.

Problem is, the whole code shows up.  We used to be able to use simple code like:
Indented code.
But when we do this here, it shows up like

Indented code.

...

Your code looks like: <div style="margin: 0 0 0 10px">Indented code</div>

another thing that I used is the numbers on each post to refer back to....

this would be really good on the graphics end as I am doing a lot of editing where I could before preview an fix before post...

George, I like the new look. I like what I've experienced, anyway. Well done, my friend.

Guest shiloh357

George has thick skin, he's hiring a skinner so he can change the skin.... George, what are you????

(:D)

Is he skinning the board?

Yes he is.   He will probably make a nice rug out of it when he's done.  :P

If you hit the top right corner of a quote, you'll see an arrow -- which goes back to the original post.  Perhaps you could simply use date / time stamps instead of post numbers.
