An apology

Do you think we should apologize to those who we have treated badly or hurt?

It takes a lot of courage to say "I am sorry,please forgive me".But many can not say those words.

I mean...is this seriously an issue...even my five year old brother knows you should apologize if you do wrong or cause harm. Maybe the more pertinent question is why we don't do what we know to be right

What type of specifics are you looking at?

No one I have encountered in my life owes me an apology.

I'll go a bit further, as my comment obviously lacks in depth;

This is different than repentance to God ( at least I believe ) , as only He has the power to absolve someone of their sins, by His grace and through the sacrifice and our faith in His beloved Son Jesus. Still, I believe that we have at our disposal, the ability to forgive ( sans absolution for sin ) or decide what should be considered a wrong to us. 

Example: Someone says something to me that might be hurtful, but don't I choose whether or not I am hurt ? Can I judge their heart in every case ? No, and to be honest, neither can any of you, because that is obviously the flesh being poked, and not the Spirit of God. 

I will therefore, walk in the Spirit of God ( as best I can ), and not squabble over innuendos or assumption through what another says. I WILL TEST everything by that same Spirit, and with as much faith and humility as afforded to me, follow God's Word and the Holy Spirit's leading in dealing with someone I do not agree with. Sometimes, I believe I am cautioned by His Spirit to simply "let it go", as perhaps I am not as far along in my walk as another ( which is great advice at least for me ). 

I love each of you, and have enjoyed sharing with you for these past 2 months. I know I am not looked upon as a Biblical scholar ( and rightly so ). I do not profess to be. I am simply fearing and trembling, and hope that you all comfort me in that, as I will do my best to reciprocate.

WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHY, HOW? (or perhaps the title should be changed to "The Necessity for Apologies when Required".
