I know what the Bible says about sexual immorality and I know that God is not pleased by my sins. I just don't know how to stop myself before I get started. I know when I have an itch for it and I do pray but I still fine myself watching it. Yes I told my loving husband and he has put blocks up for me but they don't last that long what do I do

Then I would get counseling either through your church or other organization. Pray for deliverance from this and you will be able to overcome it, mag. You're not the first to wrestle with this type of problem. I will pray for you. The good thing I read here is that you WANT to be free of this. I minister to many who were as you are who have recovered from the spiral of sexual obsessions. You are not alone. Confession is a start. Repentance was my answer. Not repentance as in turning away from porn. That is only a symptom of the problem I had. God had given me over to a reprobate mind because I had refused to acknowledge him as God when I knew him. My rejection of him led me to a place of ovsessive compulsive incomprehensibly demoralizing actions that did not end or ease up until I turned and sought after God. Even that didn't happen until someone was sent by God to tell me I needed too.We are only as sick as our secrets. God bless

But the first step you have already token confessing it. Remember Christ word to Laodicea: 17) Because thou sayest,, i am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18) I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelations 3:17-18 I've often wonder if this nakedness might be referring to porn addiction in our age, I do know that the white raiment is our for the taking by just believing in Christ Jesus: for those who don't have Christ wedding garment will be cast into outer darkness, Matthew 22:12-14. And all we who are sinners are made righteous by Christ, II Corinthians 5:21 But with the sin of porn, we will spot this holy garment: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 23 As I stated earlier it is an addiction, so I can easily fall to it again. But one thing I have notice if I keep my mind on the things mention in Philippians 4:8; and bring every thought to the obedience of Christ as told to do in II Corinthians 10:3-5, the Holy Spirit can really help me, while if I start to think upon the thoughts of porn, the battle is already more than half lost. So one of the first things I do is once I start thinking on these things is try to force then out of my mind, and replace with the thoughts that God delights in. "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled, but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4).For a Christian couple that is happily married, their primarily goal in life is to please God and Christ and serve them, therefore pornography would be regarded as sinful and abhorrent. As to resorting to pornography when you are bored, it would indicate that you are thoroughly self-centered. All people can find useful and productive things to do with their free time, including helping others less fortunate. That would ensure you have no time for filth. So in essence pornography is the symptom but the "disease" is something else. If you attend a church and feel that you might be able to get some sound spiritual and scriptural advice from the spiritual leaders, then the best thing to do would be for both of you to sit down and talk about this frankly and confidentially with at least two men who might really care about your spiritual well being and can be genuinely helpful. Ultimately we all need to turn away from our sins and idols and turn to Christ for salvation and strength to overcome all temptations. But when people leave vacuums in their lives, they can expect Satan and his evil spirits to take control of those vacuums.
