The writer of that article is full of errors in my opinion. It wasn't the fruit that was evil, because every fruit got made was good. It was disobeying God that was evil. We should check everything out.I am currently bringing a relative to Christ, and one of her first questions to me was about the prostitute Mary, which is why I started the other thread to show that what we've been told is not accurate.God bless. The world like to focus on the fruit and spread rumours, but don't concentrate on the command which is what really matters.[/quote]There was no command NOT TO TOUCH the fruit. The command was NOT TO EAT -- "thou shalt not eat of it" (Gen 2:17). "Not to touch" was Eve's invention (Gen 3:3) which was adding to God's words, just like Satan came up with his own inventions (adding to and subtracting from God's Word) regarding this tree and this fruit.
