In Exodus 20, the 7th day is not 24 hours, why should I then assume the first 6 are?  What sense does that make?

I replied to another question, but I will listen, how do you explain any of them are not 24 hours?  The same theme is throughout the bible, 6 days consisting of one day and one night, 7th day resting.

It is my understanding that the 7th day of creation has never ended, or do you believe that God is still creating?

Genesis 2:2-3 do not give an end to the 7th day the way Genesis 1 gives the rest of the days.   Why do you believe this is?

The end of the 7th day is 'visible' all through Scripture, as in there's a 1st day of the next week all the time, in Harmony with all of Scripture.

Who ever taught otherwise ?

So what has God been creating since the 8th day?

I do not know what you mean by "whoever taught otherwise"... I am not speaking of the teachings of any man, I am speaking of what I see as the literal plain sense reading of Genesis 1 and 2.

Could you give the passage that speaks of the 1st day of the next week after creation week?

Don't really see a "big problem", just different views on the proper reading of Genesis 1 and 2.

Personally I could not care less if people do not agree with my view, I am not here to put anyone down for their beliefs.

In Genesis 1:14 we read that God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night: and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years."

Thanks, any chance you might answer my question next?

"for days and years" should be enough.
