You will get some criticism over that bold part.

I expect you're right.

other than historical relevance and nothing else... An old opinion with no guarantee of God backing any of it for keeping...  this world
produces a lot of garbage awaiting the burning. Why go to the dump for dinner when you have a banquet prepared you in His Word :happyhappy:

None of it? So God does not back Jude quoting Enoch? Jude is not an inspired book?

Your logic is skewed... God speaks of the devil but God doesn't back him does He?

Because some people need to fill in some of the details Noob....    if you don't, then good for you....  I certainly hope you are not insinuating that people who give credence to it are going to hell...

Absolutely not! No sinful man may set in judgment of that sort here and now!!! I am saying that the greatest event of all eternity we are
setting smack dab in the center ring as 'The Children of God' and thus far in my studied growth In Him I have already determined not to
place any weight outside of The Scripture itself... There simply is no guarantee by God that there is any other to form ones being by! I am
to suspect any and all outside this 'Thus Sayeth The Lord' particular-> as the book of Enoch is outside the silence of God is deafening to
me in this.....  Love, Steven

each to his/her own....   I guess I tend to agree with Tertullian, Origen, Irenaeus,  Athenagoras, Justin Martyr and Clement of Alexandria.....   but hey, that's just me.

the best way to tell if something should be used or not, is to judge whether it lines up with the Bible. the book of Enoch, contradicts scriptures in to many ways to count. It is heretical in nature. If one wants to read it for entertainment value, or just to see what it says, well then all the power to them. But, if you start teaching from it, well, that would be wrong. to put it nicely.

I guess you would consider Tertullian, Origen, Irenaeus,  Athenagoras, Justin Martyr and Clement of Alexandria..... just wrong, for they and others did teach from it.
