Escape From Alcatraz

I use YouTubes because I'm in a halfway house with no access to a computer , and so making youtubes rather than type out messages on a phone is immeasurably faster, easier, and in the end more thorough in getting a message across when one can hear the tone and see facial expressions.

I'm currently chipping away at these walls that hold me , one little chip at a time, tunneling out of this Satanic prison of drug addiction, pornography , depression, despair, Pride, lust, anger, covetousness, Envy, laziness, unforgiveness, fear, being irresponsible, institutionalized, immaturity, and other vices.

It isn't fun or easy, but those who escaped Alcatraz had nothing to do but plan, chip away, and take huge risks. I guess on this thread I'll share any progress, problems, struggles, or lessons learned on the way.

What's It All About....

Hello my brothers and sisters in the Lord,

Most people don't realize the radical experiment we are doing here! I want you to imagine yourself -- hundreds of years ago -- when all the different denominations were starting! While everyone was insisting their beliefs were the "only" correct way to worship God -- they were creating more and more splits and divisions!

What we are trying to do at Worthy Boards is unheard of when you think about it! We are trying to unify the body -- while at the same time protect those fundamental truths that we can all agree with -- the need for salvation through Jesus -- the source for truth for living the Christian life found within the Bible. Read our Statement of faith! This experiment hasn't happened before when you really consider it!

Of course there's the ecumenical movement -- unity for the sake of doctrinal compromises! I'm sorry, but the fundamental doctrines of the faith can't be compromised.

So often though when you have so many different denominations, you have many different avenues of thought that have never been explored by other denominations. Just because a teaching is "different" than one you are used to hearing, doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong -- it may be just different!

But differences of opinion is actually a good thing whether you realize it or not! For God didn't create us to be the SAME body part -- but created us all different so that we could join together to form the body of Christ to compliment each other!

Oftentimes I learn by realizing other avenues of thinking presented by various believers. By allowing various avenues of thoughts we expand our horizons and allow the Spirit of God to realign our thoughts with the mind of Christ and continue our growth in the maturity of the Lord.

So before you run out and cry "heretic" or "false teacher", be sure to carefully listen, and observe what someone is saying. I honestly believe that things "heard through the grapevine" have a way of being twisted -- but if you go to the source then you can carefully examine the fruit -- test the fruit -- and then make a judgment -- oftentimes you may find that the red grape you were expecting to find was just a white grape -- it was just a different color, but when you examined the fruit -- you find out it's still good fruit!

We need to recognize that every word spoken, we will be judged for. And everyone that is hindered from hearing the gospel because someone feels the need to scream - heretic, false prophet, or demeaning someone in some fashion -- let's just say I wouldn't want to be that person sitting before the Lord at the Bema Seat!

This is a problem that I do have and I want to voice my concerns now and I hope you carefully heed these words. When someone comes into the boards, who is not necessarily a Christian -- the first thing you should do is NOT castigate them.

The first thing you should do before you even post -- what would Jesus do? Did Jesus say -- get away from me you prostitute? or get away from me you heathen? or say give me the first stone because I am without sin?

Jesus didn't go closing doors, He went forth OPENING the DOOR so ALL could enter in!

If you seek happiness that depends on  human beings, career, reputation, possessions, or anything less than God , you will be disappointed, unhappy, and imprisoned.

Poverty of Spirit and humility are needed in order to be filled with the spirit and Grace of the creator. To not have those virtues is to be cut off from Grace . 

Throughout the day I must Retreat deeply into the heart where God dwells and ask for direction and strength , for it must come from him if there is to be any victory in my life.

After so much failure and disappointment it is just a very difficult task to trust and have confidence in God, but that hope , trust , and confidence is a prerequisite for receiving great graces

Today  the sadness, the confusion, despair, and the suffering in this world is bombarding me with my own inner darkess, sins, and the way that I have betrayed God.

All I can see is the Brokenness in myself and so many other Fallen creatures.  

I look to the crown of thorns that Jesus Christ wore , that dug deep into his skull and remember he suffered a lot of this torment as well.

He took our sins and every evil thing under the sun He saw and suffered for our sins , taking them upon himself to pay our debt.

All I can do in difficult times like this is be still and cry out to my only hope, Jesus Christ.

I know I'm hopeless without you Lord.  God help us!

Today , the 9th of each month is set aside for Eleanor Rose , because it was on the 9th of march, through signs, that I realized she was reunited with her daughter , as I prayed to know

Prior to that it was called The Day of the unappreciated, where I invoke and in Jesus name exalt and praise all of the souls in heaven who helped the souls on earth who are never getting recognized for what they do.

"Holy unappreciated souls, may you be exalted, empowered, and the world be placed beneath your feet. May you be given more glory than those who are recognized and praised..

Bind me to all unappreciated souls of the Holy Empire of God, that I will not cease to live and serve in thy presence.

Spiderman, these threads an forums, and other features, have specific purposes. In the post above there is a music video. If you want to post that, fine, but do so in the music video section, in it;s own thread (not as an addition to an existing thread.

Within a few days, I will delete the post above, from this thread.

Also, you have been using this thread as a sort of blog of your thoughts, things that would be better placed in the status update area of your profile, or even on a blog site.

Keep in mind that this thread is a thread about your escape from Alcatraz Video, not a running collection of your thoughts and feelings. I removed some of your posts here, because they had nothing to do with the topic. Many of your posts were being hidden by other Admins, for other reasons. Since they were hidden, no one was seeing them, so I just removed them anyway.

Keep to the topics and your posts will tend to have normal lifespans.
