A christian woman marrying a muslim man

My brother, who at the time did not believe in God, but was raised as a Christian, married a muslim woman. They have children. They have been married for around 20 yrs now.

He is miserable. They barely speak to one another. They do not share their lives with each other. The kids themselves were raised with strong muslim beliefs. Two of the kids and his wife wont have anything to do with my side of the family. For all I know, they are being raised as terrorists. I do know, from his wife's own words, that the kids were being raised to "be free to be human shields." (That was said in the early years of the marriage.) How much worse has it gotten?

It is a bad idea to marry a muslim if you are a Christian (and even if you are not). It is a terrible idea to remotely encourage them to be muslims. Why should any Christian encourage others to follow a false dead end religion? Because there is no other outcome from following islam. It leads to death. It cannot save.

You know something,I go into a "Kwik Mart" convenience store here,from time to time & have gotten pretty "friendly" with the owners(just in the store,chit chatting),,they are muslims,,,,a couple of times we spoke about "religion",I talk about Jesus & they insist they are a "peaceful people" & they t oo believe in god,,,,,,,,,,,,,I say"No,I believe in GOD,,,, you believe in a god",,,,, Anyway,I once asked them that if the islamists took over America & said to them" Kill the infidel kwikphilly,or your whole family must die !  What would you do?"   They didn't like that question,they said it was not fair,,,,what if the Christians took over & said t7he same thing to me,,,,,,,I said,"Christians don't slaughter unbelievers,we pray for them & point them to the Cross",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,They  couldn't answer me,wouldn't answer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,JMNRR,Maybe you can ask your boyfriend that question

I can just feel the fear/hate/dislike towards islam/muslims.

I have asked that question of the muslims I know. And I know many over the years. None of them would answer that. Not a single one of them condemned 9/11 either.

Mohammed received a revelation from an angel and brought in a new gospel, a false one based on twisted Biblical scripture which he named the Q'uran. Read the book of Galatians and see what that tells you about anybody who does this!

Muslims claim to believe in Jesus but they deny his deity, deny that he died on the cross and deny that he was the Son of God. Read 1st John 2:22 and see what that tells you.

I'm telling this to warn you but you are willingly being deaf to this. And if you want a debate about Islam, I will give you one.... you will not win the debate. I will show you verses from the Q'uran and mountains of historical evidence. Now go away and look up the word 'taqiyya' - that's your first lesson. Then come back and we'll discuss it.

I don't really know what to say to you because anything i say you are trying to critisize or turn into a debate.

I did not want to debate in the first place, i just wanted to tell my opinion but not start a fight over something like this!

It would be good you talk to muslims, and not me and ask them what do they think about global domination or the "belief" of "senior muslim clerics".

It's just i can somehow sense how you are trying to attack and tell how you know better than me and so on. I don't know what are you trying to prove.

I have talked to him about these things and he said to me he could never harm me nor let anybody else harm me. He has said he could kill a person who would harm me.

Now you might think "oh this guy is totally violent". No, just he tells how much i mean to him.

No problem JNMRR,,,,,don't worry about it,no big deal,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I just don't like to be clumped into any categories & neither do I clump others into categori es,,,,,there are individuals,,,,,,,,,,,,muslims too

Now what you do have to see is that no one here is hateful of anyone & no one wants to debate,,,,,,,it only turned this way because in trying to- defend your boyfriend,you ultimately started to defend islam,,,,,,,,,our only concern is v YOU,your Salvation & a life more abundant

I am curious. He wont let you come to personal harm, but would he support muslim charities that are known to fund terrorism? Not letting harm come to you isnt quite the same as not letting harm come to others.

He would also protect his family and in some cases it is possible he would have to kill the one that is trying to kill his family/wife.
