Romans 12:15

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Many of you know me well. I've been on the boards here for 3 years and Worthy is a second family for me. You've seen me at my best and worst; in sickness and health; in sorrow and joy.

I cannot resist sharing a message to lift the spirits of those who are struggling right now.

I have wrestled with the fear of losing my poor husband, as his heart is very weak.

Recently:

1. My mother died suddenly from cardiac arrest; she was living with a boyfriend and wasn't saved

2. I've been extremely ill and have gone from doing aerobics to being needing a wheelchair or a cane

3. My husband's heart is so weakened, they've determined he needs a heart valve transplant but he's too weak to survive the surgery. He'd die on the table.

4. My husband's salvation has been seriously called into question, as his "fruit" has suggested him having backslid and rejected the faith

5. His two adult daughters despise me and have never accepted me into the family; they held me in contempt and said very hurtful things to me

6. My youngest sister is incarcerated for a drug charge

MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR ME.....(and so have I, admittedly :emot-hug: )

I just want to formally announce the fruit of your prayers. One kind man even said he was fasting a day for us, while another man has himself and others in his prayer group praying for me and my family.

Here's the results of your prayers:

*My husband has been FILLED with the Holy Spirit (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) and is a totally NEW man. I can FEEL the presence of the Holy Spirit living in him and we are now on the "same page" at last.

*My husband is savoring hymns, watching Christian movies, reading the bible on his own and praying TONS~ and hungering for the Lord. He now has RELATIONSHIP!!!

*One of his daughters who despised me told me on the phone that she loves me, considers me like a sister and is so glad I married her father. She said she was so grateful I was there to care for him in his time of need.

*My husband recently went into respiratory failure and just couldn't breathe. The ambulance took him to a local hospital, where he rec'd substandard care; I checked him out against medical advice and took him to Tampa (2 hours away) to the VA Hospital.

----- There he's rec'd outstanding medical care and attention and been stabilized and given the care he needs. He's home now and resting comfortably, spending much time with the Lord.

------He's at peace. The doctor's have gently indicated that his heart is deteriorating and there really isn't anything more they can do. Surgery would kill him instantly, so we have no choice but to wait upon the Lord. God is preparing our hearts for what is coming but has given us a wonderful peace.......my husband is securely in His Hand and nothing can separate my husband from Him.

My husband's daughter and her son (his grandson) are open to the gospel, have begun to pray and are listening intently to my husband when he talks to them about the blood of Jesus and about sin and repentence. Their hearts are tender and open and they are wanting to attend church now.

There's peace in the family. There's a remarkable calm.

After TWO YEARS OF WAITING I was finally accepted into the "Pain Management Clinic". The neurologist who I'm assigned to is a born again Christian. The nurse told me he prays with all his patients before they leave his office. She assured me that he can get me on my feet again and we can have victory over my disease (neuropathy).

With the right kind of meds and physical therapy, it's even possible I might be able to go back to work.

WAY TO GO, GUYS!!!

You all prayed and you must have brought down the walls, 'cause heaven has heard and answered!

Your prayers with mine have just opened up all kinds of doors. I'm not sure what the future holds but this I know.......they've been "hinting" that my husband's heart valves are giving out. That's not god news.

He knows where he's going now and has relationship with Christ.

HE'S BORN AGAIN!!!!

I wish I could thank everyone who's written and respond to all the emails or PM's - There's a lot going on but I hope you read this and know how grateful I am for your selfless giving of your time and prayers

BTW, my marriage could not be sweeter! It feels like we're on our honeymoon all over again, even though Bill's sick. He so loving and happy, I wonder who the stranger is I'm with, (LOL!).

He said it's the Holy Spirit that's come inside of him and made him a new person.

I agree.

Thank you...everyone. Catsmeow

Truely God has heard the prayers or your friend. I was unaware of anything beyond your mothers passing. Please forgive me. Know that all you you here at Worhy are in my prayers and thoughts throughout the day. I'm sure your husband would agree that the peace and love you feel knowing God is better than any drug and stronger than any pain. Just imagine what it will be like when we all finally go home to what he has wanted for us since the beginning.

That is a fantastic testimony to the glory of G-d Cats...you have endured a great deal over the years and this victory with your husband makes it all worthwhile...I am really happy for you and that the Holy Ghost is truely moving in your life and in your family. May you and your husband continue to know the favour of the L-rd and know His love that is given without measure.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
