I liked that a lot, all 5 were part of my upbringing and all 5 are what drive people away from Jesus and His church.

I very much enjoyed that, as well.  All five points were spot on with most of what I have heard the majority of my life.

It's very refreshing.

I was impressed by the article as well.  Being a Christian is simple; it's just following God's word and and allowing Him control.  :)

I thought"Uh oh,here it is -lol"   Surprisingly It was not at all what I expected to read, being raised "RC" I figured it to be spot on but I could only relate to one thing growing up,about the "super -spiritual" leaders,,,,,

Maybe they were not as bad as I  remembered-lol    Well,as far as Gods Love being affected by our behavior was not exactly what I was taught,I was taught "you don't want to make God angry!" but He never stopped Loving you ,so I suppose the article is pretty close?I grew up watching out for bolts of lightening or some other catastrophic event that may come out of the sky because I did something wrong,,,oh dear?

Good article  MG, so true~~

Yes; I don't even read HuffPo but someone sent me a link and I thought 'this is pretty good'.  It goes back to the old truism: Even a broken clock is right twice a day.  ;)

Me too, Kwik.  We have to learn to see our Heavenly Father as a kind and benevolent protector of His children.
