Concerning the mention in Scripture of the Lord's siblings, it's helpful to know Jewish custom, which in the case of the OP's subject, the Jews commonly called other relations (cousins, etc.) brothers and sisters, leaving more reseach for those interested enough with this subject. I have ye to research Scripture itself for this but the Bible commentators know of this custom, and of many other Jewish customs that clearly addresses Biblical doctrines.
