3. Restitution of All Things.

Commencement.  (Acts 3: 21)

I believe the times of restitution starts, as God`s word tell us, WHEN Christ is sent by God the Father to begin the process of restitution of all things.

`God....may send Jesus Christ,...whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, ...`(Acts 3: 21)

Presently we know that Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all.

`God....seated Him (Christ) at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality & power & might & dominion....` (Eph. 1: 20 & 21)

However at God`s appointed time He will send Jesus to gather the believers.

`Now, we ask you brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ & our gathering together to Him.` (2 Thess. 2: 1)

The Body of Christ will `meet` the Lord & then escort Him to His own Throne.

`For the Lord will descend from heaven......then we who are alive & remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.` ( 1 Thess. 4: 16 & 17)

meet – Gk. `apantesis,` has the connotation of escorting a person to their destination.

Together with Christ the overcomers will be seated on His throne.

`To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne,.....` (Rev. 3: 21)

This, I believe, is the first area of rulership to be restored in Christ & marks the beginning of the restoration of all other rulership under Christ.

I believe that when the Body of Christ comes to full maturity in Christ, (of doctrine, knowledge of the Lord) it is then that the Body will be gathered together to join the head – Christ.

Since Christendom is in a state of decline and apostasy, this "full maturity" will not happen.  Even the fundamentalist churches are beginning to see this decline. Therefore that "full maturity" happens only at the Rapture itself (1 Jn 3:1-3).

Hi Ezra,

Glad to know you are keeping a watch. I agree that Christendom is in a state of decline & going into apostasy, however the Body of Christ is not.

regards, Marilyn.

Hi Ezra,

This is such an important point you have brought up, that I thought I would enlarge on it.

Christendom - Def. the whole body of believers.

Previously the whole Body of believers included those who attended meetings run by religious organisations & those who do not attend but gathered in houses etc. However now there is `a state of decline & apostasy` as you said. This can be seen as religious organisations - legal entities have to uphold the UN moral law policies - (inclusiveness, tolerance, respect.... of what ever behaviour....) plus we see them joining in interfaith activities etc.

Thus I see the Body of Christ apart, separate, from these legal institutions bowing to man. Rather the Body of Christ is those who are -

`holding fast to the Head, from whom all the Body, nourished & knit together, grows with the increase which is from God.` (Col. 2: 19)

Those who are `set in the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, (1 Cor. 12: 18) that will -

`...come to the unity of faith (doctrine - teaching of Christ) & the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect (mature) man to the measure of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children tossed to & fro & carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive,

but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head - Christ -

from whom the whole Body, joined & knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share causes the growth of the Body for the edifying of itself in love. ` (Eph. 4: 13 - 16)

The Body of Christ cannot be measured by numbers at a meeting run by an organisation.

The Body of Christ is a living organism, made up of everyday people who are listening & obeying the Holy Spirit in their everyday lives.

The Body of Christ is made up of believers all over the world who are not bowing to man`s moral laws, but `holding fast to the Head - Christ,` as the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul warned us to do.

The Body of Christ is Christ`s great work which He will accomplish, bringing the whole Body to a correct understanding of His purposes - the unity of faith, (what we believe).

regards, Marilyn.

When Christ is sent by God to connect with His Body, (Head – Body) then they escort Him to His new rulership position in the third heaven. There amid heaven`s acclaim we read of Christ`s investiture with executive authority to rule over His enemies.

`The Lord (God) said to my Lord (Messiah), “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!” (Ps. 110: 1 & 2)

The Body of Christ as Kings & priests will also rule with Christ.

`To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I overcame & sat down with my Father on His throne.` (Rev. 3: 21)

Thus we see, I believe the 24 Elders as representative of the Body of Christ, seated on thrones around Christ`s throne.

`Around the throne were 24 thrones, & on the thrones I saw 24 elders sitting, clothed in white robes; & they had crowns of gold on their heads.` (Rev. 4: 4)

24 Elders – (2 X 12) Highest Government.

On Thrones – King Priests.

Around Christ`s Throne – The Body of Christ.

Clothed in White Robes – Made Holy through Christ`s blood.

With Golden Crowns – Victor`s, Overcomers.

We are told in God`s word that the Body of Christ will judge the world system & fallen angels.

`Do you not know that the saints will judge the world (system)?....Do you not know that we shall judge angels?` (1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

The prophet Daniel was given a vision of this judgment time. He saw the Lord, the High Court Judge with the heavenly court.

`I watched till thrones were put in place, & the Ancient of Days was seated;.....the court was seated.` (Dan. 7: 9 & 10)

Further on we are shown what is being judged – it is the final world ruler of the world system.

`...the Ancient of Days came, & judgment was made.....the court shall be seated, & they shall take away his dominion, to consume & destroy it forever.` (Dan. 7: 22 & 26)

It was not revealed to Daniel who this court was, but through the revelation to the Apostle Paul we realise the great inheritance we have as believers in the Body of Christ.

Let no one rob you of this `high calling` in Christ Jesus.

I believe the Body of Christ is a living organism, being built & matured by the Head – Christ Jesus, throughout the centuries & across the world. Amazingly, those with Christ`s life within them are overcoming the world, the flesh & the devil – humble contrite hearts whose sole purpose is to glorify their precious Saviour & Lord.

What a wonderful day that will be, not only for us, but also for the Lord Himself as He connects with His Body, that He gave His life for, a day of bringing many sons to glory where we will be forever with Him in the eternal glorious realms above – our heavenly home.

Our heavenly hope.

`We give thanks to the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus & of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,…` (Col. 1: 3 – 5)

Our heavenly Calling.

`Therefore holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle & high priest of our confession, Christ Jesus.` (Heb. 3: 1)

Our heavenly Citizenship.

`For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.` (Phil. 3: 20)

  Our heavenly Inheritance.

`Blessed be the God & father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible & undefiled & that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.` (1 Peter 1: 3 & 4)

Yes to believe that the church will be in a percieved state of perfection is amiss, nor will she be gathered on account of being perfect, indeed it is impossible for the most of the church has gone before and has gone in a state of imperfection yet we read that the DEAD in Christ will be first to rise.

What will happen is that our perfection will be made manifest when the Lord appears for we ARE perfect in Christ, declared to be so by God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
