I just made  beef this last Sunday in my pressure cooker ,so quick and such a  tasty :) soup

I tend to use my pressure cooker more in the summer and the crock pot more in the winter.  I make a gumbo that I finish in the crock pot after making the roux on the stove and getting things going.  The anticipation from the smell for a few hours is half the pleasure of it!  

I think I know what I am cooking this weekend!

Will do, it will be my first trying to cook ham in the pressure pan :)

As a child I was warned that the top of the pressure cooker could blow "upward" so stand back...since then am leery of them.

But when there is a new item used for terror I often think..if they took all guns, there would be knives, if they took knives there would be steel weapons if they took them there are always handy stones as we see in the Middle East. When does the human take the blame? Neither object on its own can cause harm. The stupidity of removing the weapon and not the individual always amazes me. In each case the item is always beneficial unless used for some nefarious reason by a human.
