I'm posting in Gen Discussion b/c I feel it's the most appropriate place to let you all know I am thinking of leaving Worthy. A dear friend of mine has left, called it quits and in speaking to them on the phone this afternoon, I heard so much dissapointment, hurt and betrayal in their voice, that it really got to me.

I know there is evil in the world, but I don't want there to be evil here where I spend so much of my time. I'm not into games (mind games) deception, lying or trying to lead others down the wrong track. In my heart, I just want to be here and enjoy true Christian fellowship, without trying to avoid the 'deceivers'. Like my beloved sibling, whose hurt I feel to my core, I am not a lier, nor do I seek to deceive others. Lying is of satan, deception is of satan and in a Christian chat/forum, there should be no place for ANYTHING of the evil one.

Either you love Jesus and you want to be here to share that with others, or you are seeking Jesus and want to know more about Him. If you don't love Jesus and are only intent on defaming Him, then please leave and let us fellowship in peace. There is no space here for those who seek only to defile the pure and Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here to fore, I am seriously considering leaving. I'm praying about this, I really am. If the Lord is meaning for me to remain here, He will lay it on my heart to stay.

Your loving Sister in Christ Jesus

Faithie

I REALLY hope that you do not leave Fathie. I really enjoy reading your posts and getting your insight on things. But like you said pray to God about this before you decide for sure. Keep us posted on what you decide.

Hi Fathie,

It is unfortunate that things like this do happen. But the fact of the matter is, you will see satan very active where the Spirit of God is active, this is a battle for the souls of those who are lost.

satan is constantly attacking these boards here and on other Christian boards and I am sure you even see it in the church you attend. This is why we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, man will disappoint, Jesus will always satisfy.

Job 1:6

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

We see in Job that when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord that satan was amongst them. Now many believe that these sons they speak of were angels, but the devil works the same here on earth.

When we present ourselves before God, you can bet satan is amongst us as well. Look at what we call the last supper. The deciples were with the Lord and as Jesus celebrated Passover and taught them, satan entered into Judas, my point being satan was also there in the upper room, and these boards are no different.

John 13:26-28 (New American Standard Bible)

26) Jesus then answered, "That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him." So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

27) After the morsel, Satan then entered into him. Therefore Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

28) Now no one of those reclining at the table knew for what purpose He had said this to him.

satan is restless and is determined to stop the spread of the gospel. lets look again in Job:

Job 1:7

The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, " From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."

He is roaming around the earth, walking around in it, he is restless. Peter says this:

1 Peter 5:8

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Notice what Peter calls him "Your adversary" and tells us to be on the alert, satan is seeking to devour us. We are to stand firnm in the faith and comand that he leave, he has to leave, not us.

You are needed in this battle and as ugly as it is, satan will attack and try to destroy our faith and our testimony. But greater is He Who is in You.

His battle is with those who are of the faith, he dont want to lose anyone to the cross, we are here to see that differently, we are here to win others to the Lord Jesus. These are our treasure.

You might want to ask your friend to pray for whomever offended him/her, they will find victory!

Matthew 6:21

for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

If you feel you need some time away, then do so, but dont give up the battle. What we do here will be eternal, lets not let the devil take that away. I'll be praying with you sis.

In Jesus

Kevin

Faithie,

Please understand this is a public forum, although the mods and admins do our best to keep things in order we will never catch everything. I would ask why your friend left? what happened that she felt lied to or decieved, was the situation reported? I'd say you need not leave us Faithie but merely help us keep this lying and decieving off the boards, you see it going on you report it, bring it to the attention of a Board admin, even if you bring it to a watchmen's attention sometimes if a mod is not online we can get one to be

So Faithie while I appreciate your struggle and understand all too well how you feel, I pray that you will see leaving is not the answer, help us clean up these boards we all love so dearly.

God Bless,

Dave

P.S. That goes for everyone, there are only so many admins here and there are thousands of new posts each day, we can never monitor them all, please if you see something offensive, deceitful, or out of line in any way report it immediately via the report post option or by PM'ing any of the admins.

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for your loving replies to my post.

A dear sibling sent me a pm and I replied to their message by writing this. I hope it clears up how things are for me at the moment.

I mean no disrespect to the person who is the subject of this. I just can't talk to them directly at the moment. I am needing to pray through this. I kind of feel.....I really don't know how I feel. Hurt and dissapointed I guess. But I'll get over it. I guess I am too stupidly loyal.

Below is some of what I wrote......

'It touched me to the core that someone I care about so deeply, was hurt so badly by people here. But, that's life isn't it. Perhaps some people shouldn't shoot their mouth off in a moment of emotion. This person is someone I admire, but now I will be more careful of what they say.'

With love

YSIC

With only that to go on, Faithie, we still can't help the matter much other than by the power of prayer.

I do suggest that you go to the person and discuss it in private, rather than lead a forum of thousands into a situation where only confusion can fester.

May the Lord Bless you and keep you strong!

t.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
