We have a difference of opinion there too.

Well now you're starting your question off on your premise, which I have concluded after study, has no basis in Scripture.

I also notice it includes the preposition "if" - and so I have to play along with your a priori and foregone conclusion.

I would change your follow on to your faulty premise of a Pre-Trib Rapture that -

The Church Age ends ON the Day of the Lord.

And furthermore, the Day of the Lord, and its "Last Day" is not the last day of the one 'seven'.
____________________________

So restating your "what if" question - I will simply declare that the Rapture happens on the (first part of the) Day of the Lord in the second half of the one 'seven' at some unknown Day that only the Father knows.

And everything I just stated is in accordance with Scripture.

But I'm not going to play your "what if" game.

It is too bad, for the "what if" is the truth of scripture that so far you have not seen. So have it your way. The day will come, however, when you will discover the "what if" is truth and is scriptural.

The Church Age ends ON the Day of the Lord.  I see this as exactly what Paul teachers in 1 Thes. I would change it slightly:

The Church Age ends when the  Day of the Lord begins.

I would also agree, the Day of the Lord begins over 7 years before the last 24 hour period of the 70th week of Daniel.

But I believe the scripture shows us that the rapture comes just before the Day of the Lord, on the last day of the church age, and before the Wrath of God comes. In Revelation that would be just before the 6th seal.

The Olivet discourse takes the Jews from that time right through the 70th week to the end. It is not pointed to the Gentile church at all.

But Jesus is not talking to the "Jews" - the religious authorities of that time.

Jesus is speaking to the Church.

This discourse, is the fifth and final discourse of Matthew, who centers his Gospel around those discourses.  All of them are relevant to us.

We have a deep difference in opinion.

Yours is necessitated by your eschatology.

To quote Top Gun: "Negative Ghostrider."

That's your eschatology, not mine - nor is it consistent with the whole of end-time prophecy.

From the second of two twin parallel accounts in chapter 12:

Rev 12:16-17 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

And from Rev chapters 13-16; the detailed parallel account of just the one 'seven' as appended to the broad overview of the Seals/Scroll account of Rev chapters 4-11:

Rev 13:7  It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them...

This verse does not prove there was not a pretrib rapture. There will be NEW BELIEVERS as soon as the church is taken.

Is this more prophecy from you?

Why don't we all become like children and just say it will all pan out in the end and become Pan-Millennials instead.

Oh yeah, a new class of people never mentioned in the Bible - "tribulation saints".  Uh-huh.  Yeah, right.  No, I don't believe you or your take on this.

He was speaking to JEWISH MEN before they were born again to become a part of the Body of Christ on earth.  Do YOU attend a synagogue?

Did you not notice that all 12 Disciples were JEWS? (And Paul to follow later also a Jew)

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

It was not perverted at all. The Olivet Discourse was directed to Jewish men about the end of THEIR age. The church age could be likened to a parenthesis inserted into the Jewish age they were living in. The moment the church is go, TIME will go right back to the Jewish age they were living in - which will end with the 70th week.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
