Yes there was one about the remnants of Israel in the last days.  How God will take them to safety where no man can get to.  I can't remember which book that was in now, It's going to nag me all night night now until I find it.

Scripture mentions that...Rev 12:6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.f

But what I mean is there NEW revelation or prophecy OUTSIDE our Scriptures?

No, not outside the scriptures, but there's a few little details that fill in the gaps.

I just remembered, that prophesy about the remants was in Esdras.  There's two books.  I'm looking for it now.

Yes I just remembered.  Can't remember what book.  I'm new to this don't forget.  Still learning my way through.

The Pharoah who Moses dealt with was the Son of the Pharoah Melol (I think that's his name).  Anyway, this King Melol had a disease, and he was dying.  He had two sons, and one of them he couldn't give his throne to because he talked too fast, and the other one was only a little taller than a cubit, and was very ugly, but was wise.  So this one who was very small, was the Pharoah that Moses dealt with.  He was more wicked than his Father.  He oppressed the Hebrews like nothing before, and commanded that they make so many bricks a day, and this number was huge.  If they couldn't finish their work for the day, then they would go and take their young children and cement them in the walls of the building.  The father's had to do this whilst their children were screaming.  It's sounds unbelievable that anyone would do such a thing, but this small pharoah made this law, and the Hebrews were crying out to God, then God sent Moses, and that King died as you know, swallowed alive in water through the red sea.

My point.  The Pharoah would of been a dwarf or a midget, and this was not mentioned in the scriptures, and second point, he was so cruel beyond imagination.

Now, the funny thing is that in the scriptures, the false prophet is described as having a fierce countenance, and stout, speaking dark sentences.  He will be burried alive, not in water, but in the Lake of fire.

So I am expecting a false prophet who is very short, ugly, and mean.  We will have to wait and see.

What apocrypha do or did the Catholic's accept?  Have you got a list of those books?  I'd be interested to see if they are the ones that I like.

Just check the Vulgate or the Douay-Rheims translation to see which apocryphal books are accepted by the RCC.

James and Peter quote the book of Enoch. The word of God mentions 7 other books that didn't make the cut. Broad generalizations are never good.

Yes, I’ve heard all of the claims that Jesus, Jude, James, and even Peter quoted Enoch, but I don’t see it.

Why not?

To prove that assertion – it takes more than just matching up some common words, cultural colloquialisms of the day, or similar phrasings from each text and declaring it “quoting”.  One must ask where did the author of Enoch get HIS words from?

Yes, James and Jesus and the author of the book of Enoch both cited a maxim of “woe to the rich” and each in different words explained how riches can’t be trusted and will be lost to those who do so.

But that doesn’t emphatically mean that Jesus and Jude quoted the author of Enoch.  I googled “what does the Bible say about the rich” and found five Old Testament passages from Proverbs, Psalms, and Ezekiel that say basically with same thing without the phrase “woe to the rich” which could have very well been a common  “old saying” in the time of the writing of the book of Enoch and the New Testament since they weren’t written that far apart.

What if the author of Enoch, Jesus, and Jude were all referencing the Old Testament?   Jesus did that a lot and so did the authors of the New Testament.  It appears to be that way.

  • Pro. 23:4-5  Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist. When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
  • Prov. 13:11  Wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
  •  Ezek. 7:19 They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.
  • Pro. 22:16 Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
  •  Prov. 11:28 Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.

It’s the same thing for people who like to claim that Jesus, when saying “Bless are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” is quoting the author of Enoch when he said “The elect shall possess light, joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth.

But actually, King David, - truly the Holy Spirit via King David – said it first.  Psalms 37:11 – “But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”  Jesus, again, was referencing the Old Testament.

Many people like to say that Jude “quotes” the author of Enoch in his citation about the real Enoch from the Old Testament.  The verses are similar, that’s true – but not exact quotations.

And Jude – in truth – is quoting the real Enoch, not the author of the book of Enoch who is a different person separated by thousands of years.  He is citing prophecy from that man of the early Old Testament and because it is in the Bible, the quote must be true.  The real Enoch must have really made this prophecy and said this and it must have been handed down orally for generations.  But all this proves is that the author of the book of Enoch and Jude quoted the oral tradition of the real Enoch – not that Jude quoting the author of the book of Enoch - a different man.

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

Let me ask you – have you actually read the book of Enoch?  I have – all of them and more than once.  There are so many direct and terrible contradictions to the word of God that it is grieves me how anyone could defend it.

Yet another dreadful book with contradictions to the word of God.

Sister - can you explain how this contradiction - just this one - and make the book of Adam and Eve credible?

[1]  The Bible says that God commanded Adam and Eve to have babies and to fill the earth.  Genesis 1:27-28a - "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.'"  Also, Genesis 5:4 says that Adam and Eve had MORE sons and daughters AFTER Seth was born.

[2]  Your book of Adam and Eve says that having babies never occurred to Adam and he didn't want to do so because he thought it would make God mad.  It took the devil to "tempt" him to have children and they shook hands on it.  Also your book of Adam and Eve says that after Seth was born, Adam and Eve never had sex again and that that was all the children that they had.  No more after Seth.

If the book of Adam and Eve is to be taken seriously and credibly - it MUST match the word of God or at least not contradict it in any way.

It does.

What is your defense of this error?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
