How about we stick to clear scripture & not speculate on every ambiguous section.  One could possibly say that humans were created by God (to fall), for without the fall we would not have known the grace & love of God. Prove me wrong, there is no scripture for it, but this is my speculation & it shows more logic, there's an old saying from where I come, opinions are like bums everybody has one.  Lets stick to clear scripture. Guest
Nephilim in Greek means Gigantes which is the word used in the Septuagint. Nephal also means fallen. So the nephilim are the mighty ones who became the disembodied demons.

They are called demons - as fallen angels -- just as Lucifer is called Satan and "the devil" in his fallen state.

Giant by comparison to men in Moses' day. And of course Genesis 5 shows that they lived many times longer than life spans today or in Moses' day. Nofhing in the Bible says that Nephilim means demonic or means "half-human". In fact the myth that angels formed families with humans is denied by Christ in Matt 22 who tells us that Angels were not created with that feature. Who then are the "sons of God" according to the Bible? In John 1 we have a good example of what that is "to as many as believed on Him - to them He gave the right to be called the sons of God" Edited May 17, 2017 by BobRyan

OO if this is true then in this statement of God Matthew 25:41 (KJV) [41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: would God, to be all inclusive, place demons also need be in this list if their separate from angels? Because if demons are not fallen angels then God no where in His Word speaks to them of the placement in hell... He tells why hell was created and also that fallen man an angels will go there but no where demons? Point being if they exist as you say then would not God also speak specicifc to their judgement?
