I have two physicians in my family. And they will tell you health care is way over priced. Beginning with medical school.

The pharmaceutical companies have way too much influence in the education of American doctors.

And over the course of my 56 years of life the entire health care system has been turned into a cash cow for the super greedy.

Price overruns are too numerous to list here with referral medicine sending patients unnecessarily to specialists, over charges "to pay for those who can't pay" and out and out fraud:

I remember my mother going over the doctor bill pointing out charges for services NOT rendered. "Oh insurance will pay for it," the reply.

No one is addressing this root problem with health care.

The word in the air to those in the know (and with the wherewithal) decades ago was "Insurance, young man. Insurance." Where once it was tax shelters and legal money laundering (through capital loss ventures that intentionally fail like country clubs... which they also happened to benefit from the use of). This is where those trying to avoid taxes etc. parked their money. So, leading the way into the economic adjustment 2008 was A.I.G...

Obama Care (the Affordable Healthcare Act) did to health insurance what was done to auto insurance decades ago (putting the American citizen on the dole of a preferred industry by rule of law).

This was to make health insurance available to all. Nothing at all but Double Speak (Orwellian term for calling something what it's not to pass legislation and force upon everyone).

Some of the biggest advertisers are insurance companies. Right behind them are drug companies.

My father-in-law was a wise man. He did not believe in insurance or excessive loans. His philosophy was a strong dollar is based on the affordability of everything through competition in the marketplace. He believed excessive loans and insurance each in their own way enables businesses to charge ridiculous prices for everything, driving down the purchasing power of the dollar and inflation up (harming everyone including those businesses). He also did not believe in usury or hedging bets (for financial institutions). He was a good man.

So, no one is addressing the root problem; the beast in the room with the insatiable appetite the health care system itself.

Until they do NO legislation will solve the problem. Because every idea is ONLY how to pay the costs the health care system charges at any rate it jolly well wants.

Like abortion. Abortion will never be stopped until the root problem is stopped.

Fornication.

Stop fornication and 99.99% of abortion will cease.

Deal with the symptoms and not the root cause... band aid on cancer.

Rand Paul repeatedly told the media why he was voting against repealing Obama Care. He opposes the "bailing out of insurance companies." As does anyone not indirectly or directly in the insurance business. But he has yet to prove that is what is in the bill. There would be more uproar over that proviso. And there was no mention of excluding that portion of the bill if it exists in the first place.

Plus! It does not get to the root of the problem which is the health care industries have been allowed and legally protected in charging too bloody much!

You and I try it we'd be up on charges of fraud, gouging, etc.

Bankers, lawyers, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, insurance companies do it and now we only try to figure out way to make the American taxpayer pay for it all PLUS hedging any risks they might take.

WOW.

We should all  be one of those guys (we're all in the wrong professions if we are anything else).

Rand Paul was and is grandstanding for his run in 2020. Nothing more.

John McCain (of Borg) ← 7 of 9 looking bandage.

Hero or Statesman?

Last nights vote proves he is certainly no Statesman: a politician who sets aside his own career and agenda for the good of the country. In this case the BEGINNING of steps the right direction for America on health care. Which would have been a hero.

If he's in perpetual opposition over what Trump said on the campaign trail, that is the Statesman is (which is unheroic).

I'm sorry he was a P.O.W.

I am glad for McCain that his rich father was able to get him out of the Hanoi Hilton long before his cellmates were released.

I thank him for his service.

And if some deem that heroism I will grant them their premise.

But the unheroic act done yesterday in the Senate (when his people and his country needed him) IN MY HUMBLE (FORMER NAVY SAILOR) OPINION overshadows past heroism.

And IF (another explanation is) that he is somehow compromised...

ALL these point to the need of his removal and ALL Congressmen and Senators like him in both parties.

Further, I call for ALL of Congress to be stripped of their healthcare privileges and be subject to the very Obama Care they impose upon the rest of American citizens.

If they were penalized for using Doctors (even out of pocket) and forced to abide by their own legislation in this and all legislation the SWAP WOULD DRAIN ITSELF like yesterday!

I think of past Congressional exemptions to include the sexual molestation of page boys (Barney Frank of Massachusetts for one).

I understand the body of legislators have peculiar and extraordinary circumstances,

but this and about 90% of the legislation it exempts itself from is ridiculous and criminal and borderline insane.

The swap / sewer that needs draining is fair bigger than even Trump realized going into this thing.

The American people sent Mr. Trump to Washington with a Republican majority with a mandate to get this done.

I am griping at US, the voters.

McCain, Paul, Schummer, Waters, the Clintons, they are what they are.

But for us to cast one vote and think we can all go back to sleep again IS the problem.

IF we were on our representatives' and senators' butts like we ought to be, they would be too scared not to

help Trump drain the swamp.

But hoi polloi being the snoozers and easily influenced chumps that we are, most political machines know to wait out mandates like last November.

Really thought this time would be different.

I just need to remain without faith in human nature and pessimistic about the outcome of all things in this life

and stick to my guns.

Goin' find me a hole and pull it in after me.

Political machines and globalists can depend on the undependable American citizen. {sigh}

The problem isn't health care...it's health INSURANCE and the stranglehold the insurers' lobby has on Congress.  This is how it became MANDATORY that we have insurance even though that is unconstitutional.  This is why everything your doctor does has to be run by your insurance provider.  And this is, indeed, why health care is so expensive.  Cut the head off that snake and the problem will be largely fixed.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
