God says to hate sin, but love the sinners. Jesus walked among the common people, he didn't hang around the Pharisees. How can you bear witness when you are avoiding people?

I guess when they say these things tell them= yes, God does love you, but he does not like your sin.

There are many people at my school that are homosexual, gay, lesbian, transexual... the list goes on... I hav spoke against homosexuality(this is not meant to become a debate on homosexuality) a couple times at school, and many ask me if i have anythign agaisnt the peopel themselves. That adds on to the situation, because i am not sure if i should try and avoid them or what. However, i am trying to tell them what the bible says about it, and i have many other people starting to say that i am hypocrite because i donot like homosexuals or else God does not love people... they come up with weird things... i am not sure how to talk to them or how to tell them that what they are doing is wrong.... any ideas?(not dealing with Day of Silence thing in this topic)

I cannot tell them that i love them... that will send their heads spinnign and ruin what little testimony i still have. I know i can tell them what they bible says... but what should i tell them of what i think of the person who is homosexual?

God said "Judge not, lest ye be judged". You can tell them what the Bible says, and you MUST MUST MUST be sure that you let them know God loves them too, and wants them to come to him.

All sins are the same in the eyes of God, whether it is lying, stealing, lusting, adultery or homosexuality. We are ALL sinners in one way or another, and you have remember that. "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". God loves us ALL.

I know a gay couple who are very personable, kind people. While I don't agree with their lifestyle, when I see them, I treat them with God's love.

It is a difficult situation and a very touchy one. All we can do as believers is pray for our neighbors...

I agree with you truesunn! I try to find the good in people even though I hate their lifestyles. We are all God's children and everyone deserves His love.

And again this is why we have a separation of church(s) and state. It is not up to us mortals to punish but hold ourselves to the higher standard of the laws of GOD. He by his own hand smite them on their judgement day. If our laws were to be required to go strictly by the word of GOD Then which church would have the say on which text we would go by. Which religion would be the only religion allowed. Will you make that discission and then what will you do with the rest of the population that doesn't conform to your views. Even in this small forum there are so many interpretations of the WORD that it's hard to imagine even us agreeing on the simplest thing. Which version of the WORD to use.

Why should you have any more rights than anyone else no matter of their lifestyle. Are you that sure that you are that much better?

And another thing It doesn't matter if you accept marriage betweeh two people of the same sex or not. If it becomes law you will be required to go by it regardless of your beliefs.

I am not talking about punishing anybody. Sin is sin, no matter what it is. Not one is bigger than another one. Christians are to show the love of Christ to all, no matter who. We are not to love the sin, but only love the sinner. We are not to judge the non-christians, only God knows their hearts and only God has the right to judge. Our human knowledge is limited. However, christians are not to condone sin. What is sin? It is rebellion against God.

We are ambassadors for Christ and are to help people to get to know Him, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are to let people know that Jesus died for everybody in order to give them Life.

It is not my views that count. Only God's Word holds the truth and we are to abide by it and live by it.

Simple kitty if they ask you you can simply tell them the truth for what it is that it is an abomination to God and cannot continue to be Gay and inherit the kingdom of God. But they can be saved through Jesus Christ and turn from their sinful ways that they might go and sin nomore and be changed in heart mind and spirit.

Ben , your shtick is getting old and your "philosophy is poison". Perhaps you would do better preaching to inanimate objects. At least that way no one will question your goofy approach. I hope you snap out of your christ complex or whatever big huge person you think you are. If you had a real hunger for the truth , you would shut up for a minute and ponder what someone else has to say.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
