Here is James the diciple of our Lord Jesus. Here is the heart of this message. Faith without works is dead. BTW copying this to paste it in this chat is a miracle of The Lord itself. why are we not dinning on these beautiful words from our Lord in the new spirit we recieve from him?

¹² Speak and act as those who will be judged by the law of freedom. ¹³ For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn’t shown mercy.Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Faith and Works

¹⁴ What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can his faith^[d] save him?

¹⁵ If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food ¹⁶ and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it?¹⁷ In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself.

¹⁸ But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.”^[e] Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works.^[f] 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe—and they shudder.

²⁰ Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

here in galations Paul is telling us the same thing as James just explaining it more gentile friendly the James. James if you read his letter also puts in all the road blocks for those who think their righteousness or position in heaven can be obtained or lost by obedience to the Law.

 

5 Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery. ² Take note! When Jesus died on the cross that was the end of the first covenant, which consisted of the blood of animals and the keeping of God’s commandments. And his death also brought in the second covenant, which consist of the blood of Jesus and the keeping of God’s commandments. (v.18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. In other words, no more animals are going to die for your sins. (v.26) For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. Now do we understand what’s being said here? If you sin willfully after you have knowledge of what the truth is, no more animals are going to die for you. (v.27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Now if you are being deceived into believing that once you are under God’s grace you no longer have to keep his commandments, all you have to look forward to is the day of judgement and the lake of fire (fiery indignation).

So now, let's read Paul writing concerning the Royal law, Ten Commandments in (Rom. 7:7,12) (v.7) What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, THOU SHALT NOT COVET. Paul asked a question, is the law sin? He said God forbid, he said the only way that he knew what sin was, was by the law. (v.12) Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Why in the world would a Christian want to do away with something that God said is holy. (Rom. 4:15) Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. If there is no law there is no sin.

Again you a have to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and understand what you reading, or else you will have Paul looking like a hypocrite.  Paul talks about more than one law at times, sometimes two different laws in the same paragraph.

but here let paul say it.   FOR it is GOD which works IN YOU both to WILL and to DO of HIS GOOD pleasure. WHY you think in tons of places , specially in romans

paul says FOLLOW THE SPIRIT , OBEY THE SPRIT , or  FOR if you FOLLOW the SPIRIT you shall not fulfill the lusts of the  flesh.

OR how bout what else paul would say.................I labored more abundantely than them all, yet not I , BUT THE GRACE OF GOD.

ALL BY GRACE.   NOW SING IT .

For with man this is impossible, he cannot save himself.  BUT WITH GOD , IN CHRIST JESUS ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HE OR SHE WHO BELIEVES.

THAT GOOD WORKS DONT SAVE LEST YE HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST.  ALL other religions are false , non religions too.    ONLY JESUS SAVES and if one denys HIM

Jesus didn't pray for the world. He prayed for those father gives him out of the World and those who believe the message he sent them with. john 17. If you do not believe the message of those Jesus sent he didnt pray for you to see him in glory. But, just because you haven't believed yet doesn't mean Jesus didn't pray for you to see him in glory. in Rev we are shown the great multitude standing before the Lord. He knows where he has to take us and does everything in his power to get us there.

Exactly. this is why its Christ only saves preaching time to all who know him NOT.    ONLY JESUS is the CHRIST .

I love the Lord and seeing him in my brethern. John 15 Jesus says the exact same thing James trys to make clear and that Paul chews up like a momma bird and softens to feed gentiles rejected till then by jews in galations 5.

So long as I have breath in these lungs  the holy sound doctrine of Christ , the apostles and the HOLY GHOST will be said.  We live in times

when so much GOOD doctrine reminders will be seen as Hatred.   ON another thread I had to comment.  it was called labels.

I don't like being called labels or etc.   Any way it was about all the different denominations etc.

But all I could say was

Being a CHRIST FOLLOWING BIBLE ONLY READING and TEACHING in this age I get called many labels.  But I cant repeat a one of them.

Language so harsh it would make crowly cringe.   or words to that effect.   People don't have the JOY of the LORD like some do.

Let them say whatever to me.  I got CHRIST so whatever comes my way ,   JUST REJOICE IN THE LORD SISTER . REJOICE IN THE LORD.
