More Cartoons.

Do you have a coherent "Substantive" argument/position regarding anything by chance?

ps.  You still have a sizable post 'step-by step' deconstructing your entire treatise (OP) that you WHOLESALE DODGED, here:

Pseudo-Science Deconstruct

We're still waiting.

EDIT[lost all the text when posting. retyping it in.]

When I was a kid, I was fascinated by magnets.  Something about feeling the forces at a distance seemed cool.  I was fortunate in my career and was able to spend a number of years learning about magnets and designing them.

Over the next week or so, I'm going to do some posts about magnets.  Feel free to toss out any questions.  The graphs above show the field around a cylinder bar magnet.  The left 3-D view is the shape of the magnet and the blue plane shows where the field is being plotted.  The right graph shows the direction and strength of the field.  Note that the north pole and the south poles are the general region of the surface of the magnet where the field is pointing outward or inward.  This is basically what a pole of a magnet is, where the field points strongly inward or outward.

As an FYI, this is a visualization of a simulation of the field using codes and algorithms that I wrote for professional magnet design.

The real key is having the mathematical and technical ability to actually understand what is happening and to make successful predictions from it.  People who can do this are the ones that I respect and have some degree of confidence in what they say.

Here's my Example of Applied Physics.

Physically get out of bed at 4am, arrive at work at 5am, Go underground and cut coal till 5.30pm, leave work and arrive home 6.30pm, repeat 4 days straight. Have three days off, mostly sleeping and resting, then it all starts again only this time instead of getting out of bed at 4am, I lay about home all day on the fourth day off, waiting to leave home at 4.pm, to arrive at work at 5.pm, to go underground and cut coal till 5.30am, leave work and arrive home at 6.30 am and fall into bed exhausted. do this for another 4 nights in a row.

I prayed every day that God protects me on the job and my wife while I was away so long every day, and He did.

A hard life I know but at least we saw that we produced something saleable, something we could see stockpiled pit top, something useful that is used for many things to make life better for all.

I grew up on a dairy farm.  I respect anyone that puts in a hard honest day's work.

Hi Gandalf,

I worked on a dairy farm as a child before school for pocket money. I learnt early how hard things can be and how hard a dairy-mans life is as well.

Actually, the failure of this image experiment is the size of the light source is exceedingly too small and too close. You don't have a fuzzy shadow because the light source is directed.

1.  Actually, according to 'The Narrative', the light source is very close to the Relative Size of the Sun.

2.  Actually, the further away the Light Source... the worse your case becomes.

The sun is so big the shadow of the moon is very small on the earth which is why you can see the fuzziness of the shadow instead of a sharp line image as your photo graph implies. If you increase the size of your light by a factor of 300, you'll get a better reality.

Thanks!!  thumbsup.gif  SEE the... Convergent Sun Rays!

"Crepuscular rays are PARALLEL!"
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2011/11/02/crepuscular-rays-are-parallel/#.WdELTFtSy02

Your Cartoon has some 'Splainin to do' because it takes Eratosthenes Fairytale outback to the Woodshed and gives him "What For"!! (It's a Trainwreck anyways, SEE: Cleomedes)

So which is it...Convergent Sun Rays or Parallel Sun Rays??  Can't have Both. ;)

And lastly, according to 'The Narrative'... the sun is 93,000,000 Miles Away, so the Sun is relatively the same size as the Moon.  If it wasn't, we wouldn't have Solar Eclipses. ;)

ps.  So you claimed that in my ACTUAL PICTURE the light source was too close; what about the light source in your Cartoon??

Thanks for Confirming my Case.

regards

This link contains a photograph taken from the International Space Station over India which forms the main basis of the conclusion.  To say that the rays of light are exactly parallel or close to parallel is beyond the resolution of a single photograph taken from space.

You're a Physicist and this is your response??

I don't care if it contains a picture of Liberace and George Washington sporting purple tutu's riding side-saddle on a hobbled Pink Unicorn winging around the Sombrero Galaxy.

Common Sense forms the 'Main' basis for the conclusion.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
