A lot of people, even atheists that don't know Christ; Have good hearts and natures, who's sin is convicted by their conscience. Some live more righteously than Christians.

If one of these was to come to know Christ, how would they discern between their old "good nature" and new heart? -If they wanted a sign of being born again.

If they couldn't discern, then how would they know their faith is true?

and

How would they discern if it's their new heart, versus instinct to follow moral laws in the Bible?

What is written ?     What separates and reveals even the thoughts and motives of a man's heart ?

What divides so sharp,  even between as it were bone and bone marrow ?

The same way GOD did it for me    .   When one is truly drawn by GOD to Christ and reads that bible.   IN time they find out , THEY WERE NOT GOOD at all.

They only thought they had been.   Sin will become exceeding sinful, we become very aware of SIN , it becomes very evil to us through the knowledge of God.

This also leads to a very heavy knowledge of how dire ONE NEEDS CHRIST for he sees how truly wicked he is .   In our carnal nature

before God, we cant see all evil as evil.  often it appears as good .   BY the knowledge of GOD this all changes.

the more I read that bible under the power and influence OF the HOLY GHOST , the oh so aware I became of just how not good I thought I once was , but truly

how dire wicked my flesh is .     See as you said above a lot of people don't know Christ but have good hearts and natures,    NO they evil they just don't know it.

Evil is not what man perceives all evil to be.  EVIL is anything contrary to whole hearted love FOR GOD .

Believe me their is none good , no not one .    And when one is drawn by GOD to Christ , He will show them this .   SIN will become EXCEEDING sinful , we become aware of how evil

it is and is our flesh.    When I was first drawn, as I said above,   I was put asap fast right in the bible with a love that came from GOD that LOVED TRUTH.

And it sure wont take long for TWO THINGS to occur.   SIN will become very evil , we will see ourselves in EXTREME upmost need for a savoir.

The Father alone drew me to Christ , but he put me in TORAH or bible, and man that school teacher took not time by the power of the SPIRIT to show me

NOT how good I was , or holy, BUT HOW WICKED to the core I was.  THAT led me RIGHT to CHRIST .   A DIRE UPMOST SENSE OF URGENCY TRUE NEED OF UPMOST FOR CHRIST ALONE.

you be blessed now .    Hope that helps.

Atheist do not believe in God or gods; pew research says 8% do believe in some sort of god so most do not. Praying is a big part of Christian life ( I think ) so if one started to believe or get saved I would think they would start praying and caring what God thinks. If one does not believe in God surely they dont care what he thinks

Romans 8    King James Version (KJV)

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

"We" know, I know. God is not a trickster to deceive or leave any person in doubt.

I know without a doubt what happened to turn  me about. I also know that each "born again saint" has their own testimony.

Having attended many baptisms and hearing so many testimonies of coming to understand Jesus is Lord,  I know it is a personal and unique experience, it is not a mysterious thing that leaves one in doubt. It is very real and it is not subtle at all.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
