When they refer to the works of the law they are talking the ceremonial works like the sacrifices, festivals, as well as the Sabbath, the dietary laws, hygene laws as so on.

They do attach salvation to the sacraments and the Mass other Catholic traditions.

I do not agree with every doctrine of the RCC but in their limited capacity I do not doubt their love for God.

I look at protestants with their own brand of doctrines which some i do not agree with yet I do not doubt their love for God.

At the end of the day the church is too wonderful to be satisfied with following human celebrities.

 

The RCC is an apostate church and there are many evangelical/protestant churches who are not far behind.
