Didn't really need the hint, some of us already knew this. The answer is right here. Egypt and Jordan (Edom) will be destroyed by a Turkey (Assyria, Meshech, Tubal) and Iran (Elam) alliance during the first half of the tribulation. 

The latter part of the book of Ezekiel is somewhat in chronological order. Egypt gets destroy in Ezekiel 32 before Jerusalem gets invaded at the midpoint in Ezekiel 38.

After the king of the north nukes Egypt in daniel 11:40,no one will be able to live there for forty years.It will be so contaminated no foot can even pass through it

So as you know,at the time of dan 11:40,it will be a time of trouble such as never was and at that time the saints will be delivered,everyone found written.

This coresponds to the first resurrection in revelation of those who did not worship the beast or recieve his mark. 

Egypt will be unihabitable for forty years because of the radiation.After forty years the Egyptians who lived and their children shall start returning but it will always remain a base country and will never be strong.

So when Gog invades Israel 1000 years after the king of the north had obliterated Egypt,it will still be a weak country because God said he will not allow Egypt to ever raise itself over anyone again.

Ps,it not just Egypt that suffers this fate.Far as I know there are ten countries involved in attacking Israel and the king of the north military that he placed in jerusalem in Dan 11:31.

All of those countries that attack Jerusalem will suffer as Egypt.

The king of the north will not "nuke" Egypt, but will make it a part of his kingdom in the Middle East

And Daniel 11:31 has already passed .... Daniel 11:21-35 is all about Antiochus IV and his dealings with Israel

Daniel 11:36-45 is still a future event that will be carried out by the king of the north during the coming 70th week decreed for Israel .... the coming tribulation period
