I have thoughts that if I don't write this sentence with this type God will not like me. Or I want to enjoy my meal and thought jumps in my head taahat id I enjoy it i will be punished, because i didn't do it. I dont know if this ois just my sick way of thinking these are really orders from God.

Yes, it is exactly like this. And the Lord Jesus does not want you to suffer like that.

"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." - Matthew 11:30

I know I have lack of knowledge about this. I am starting reading bible, so i  hope i will gain more knowledge.

Good. Just keep reading it and praying.

And i also wanted to ask you, how should i fight with OCD when thought like if i enjoy a meal that something bad will happen?

Faith. If it starts to threaten you too much then just run to the Lord Jesus, He will rescue you and protect you from evil. And the evil will run away.

Now you see how reading the Bible will help you, you will know a lot about God by doing it.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7

I suggest you pray before reading it, start from the New Testament, and pray always that you find peace and what you need. Jesus loves you, He wants you with Him forever.

God bless you, in Jesus' name!

I know I pray to God to forgive me what I did. Do you think that God will forgive me even tho I promised him that I won't do it but I did it? I know promising God something is not a good idea. I did it because I was so anxious that I was doing that sin repeatedly so I wanted to somehow show God that I really won't do it again. I promised him that I won't do it again but I did it. I told myself when I was promising God that I won't do it again that if I do it I won't be able to speak with people. That's how should God punish me. But now I am writing this forum, so does it mean that God had forgiven me or he doesn't exist? Maybe it is my sick way of thinking. But please help me still with this. I feel like there is God above us. But I don't understand why he didn't punish me how I said when I was promising that I won't do it again. Thank you so much for cooperation through this website. I really appreciate that it was created. Than you so much!

Think about someone you know and love you. You go and promise something to that someone, and you do not fulfill it.

Will that someone forgive you?! If that someone can forgive you, then how much more will God forgive your trespasses; no one is better than Him.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9

As I understand and have experienced what you are going through, it is harder for us to forgive ourselves.

Then I kindly suggest you forgive yourself first, because God certainly will forgive you. If you can forgive yourself, then how much more God is willing to forgive you.

He did not punish you because He is a loving God and understand that you are in need of His love.

That can only be found in His Son - The Lord Jesus Christ. And yes, it is obvious that God exists, you did not come here as coincidence.

I am pretty sure that God lead you to here, and He knows that you are in need of getting rid of the evil that oppresses you.

But how do I know that God does not want you to feel that way, so oppressed and worried?!

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

Then all doubting, oppression, worry, anxiety, fear, is not from God. But He wants you free from all that.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11:28-29

God bless you, in Jesus' name!

Thank you so much for your answer again! I really appreciate your help, I would be struggling much more if I didn't write here. I admire you that you were able to go through this.

I have also thoughts that my parents or I will go to hell if I don't do some kind of behavior. These thoughts are really dreadful and I really would like to not have them. It is hard. But I will pray to God to help me to get out of this problem. I hope these are only my thoughts and God will protect me and my family and other friends of mine.

Thank you one more time sharing your opinions and your advice to my problems. I really appreciate it.

God bless you, in Jesus' name!

The only kind of behavior that would send you to hell is to reject the Lord Jesus. And I know you do not want to do that.

They will start to vanish only when you start to resist them. At first, it may be really hard. But with Jesus you will win.

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." - James 4:7

And you can pray in Jesus' name, that what is oppressing you may leave. Remember, is the Lord Jesus who fights for you.

Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9

I understand what you said. I don't know if you went through this: I have thoughts that like f*** you God, its even so hard for me to write it here. and always when I want to buy something for food a thought jumps in my head that if I buy it means that I think bad things about God. I won't even write it here. But it is really horrible when those thoughts jump in your head.

What should i do in that situation, when a thought like if i buy this i think bad about god and i don't like him and i have blasphemous thoughts about him what should i do? Should i buy that thing? Because when i dot buy that thing, more thoughts about not buying stuff in shop will appear. Please tell me what should i do when this comes in my head.

I want to enjoy my meal, which i have made for dinner. Suddenly thought jumps in my head: if you eat this, that sentence (you are bad God and f*** you God will be real. I dont know what to do in that moment. last time it happened i ate that meal. I am so anxious right now that i did so big sin. What do you think about this? I really need another help. I think that this is part of my OCD. But how to overcome it? Answer on this question you have written in a comment before, so that i know. But please let me know what do you think about these thoughts that i have. Thank you so much!!!

Yes, this happens too.

Yes, it tries to plant that in you so you may think that you should not seek God. It is a trap.

If you obey it, you will be giving it more reasons to invest in you. Do not give it attention, rebuke it in Jesus' name and say what you really believe about God.

Faith. Do not worry, just trust in the Lord Jesus and it will vanish.

I'm praying for you. You are loved by the Lord Jesus, do not let anything convince you of otherwise.

God bless you!

Thank you so much! I will try to disregard those thoughts. I will trust in Lord Jesus and I hope it will vanish.

One more question. Maybe I have already asked you about this last time, but why did not God punish me after I saw pornography? because I told myself (part of my OCD) that if he exists, he will prove it by not making me able to speak and interact with other people. I felt so bad after I did that sin before this sin, that I needed to promise something to God. I did a big fault. Now it could mean two things: 1) he didn't punish me because he loves me. And also he doesn't have to react to my thoughts, especially when it was my messed up thoughts. 2) he doesn't exist, but I don't think so that this could be real.

I think that the first version what has just happen is more trustworthy. But still, it keeps bothering me and can not get away from this.

Thank you so much!

God bless you!

Hi Johny,

Please do well to read once more what Gandalf... & 4Ld... have written above. It's correct, really.

As for me, the only thing crossing my mind when I read your Confession is, why don't you just try some Worthy Charity to do? It won't hurt.

And don't forget to avoid starvation - the spiritual one. Study the Word of GOD. How could you possibly be at Peace with Him otherwise?

Take care.

Igor

Yes, He loves you. And not only that, He knows your heart very well and He knows that those thoughts do not reflect it, but are being imposed by "intruders".

These thoughts are like when there are people around you making "fun" of you, that is what it is doing to you. Do not pay attention to it, in Jesus' name.

3 hours ago, johny111 said:

This is just another thing that is common to happen as well. Do not worry, you are forgiven in Jesus' name.

Just as you see, these thoughts make us to believe that we should have to do things that are contrary to God. Do not obey it, you don't have to.

God does not want you to be a slave of those thoughts, He wants you to have a peaceful mind, that will only think about His pure words and promises.

Then I strongly suggest you start reading the Bible, I know you are already doing it, but keep doing it and thinking about it during the day. Start from the New Testament.

And very important: Forget your sins, forgive yourself. If anything tries to condemn you because of your past actions then rebuke it in Jesus' name and say "The Lord Jesus forgave and paid for my sins on the cross". Just receive the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." - Romans 5:1-2

And just seek to live with Him daily, read the Bible, and ask the Lord Jesus to guide you each day. If you sin, do not worry, just confess it and He will forgive you.

And then you will learn that sin is a waste of time, it gives you nothing good in return. But with the Lord Jesus you will have life, peace, love, faith, and everything you need to overcome all things.

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25

And I tell you this from experience, just 1 year ago I was in the same situation as you with the mind completely disturbed, with no peace. Then I tell you, it may not happen overnight, but you will overcome this with the Lord Jesus. And you will start to feel better in much less time, I assure you.

God bless you, in Jesus' name!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
