The bible says the kingdom of the beast will be plunged into darkness. With the great of charges above it is not difficult to how they can cause a power black out. This has happened before, in Montreal Canada in 1989. This time it will be absolutely massive. At least a continental grid failure. I venture to say that ironically, those who would not others buy or sell without  receiving the mark will now not be able to buy or sell either! This unstoppable surge will crash the tech reliant system and permanently wipe out its data.

Your idea of an asteroid strike on the Day of the Lord's wrath, is impossible for two reasons; we would see it coming, possibly months before so it would not 'come as a thief'.  Then its effects would last for quite a while, not just a one day event, as clearly stated, Isaiah 9:14, Zechariah 3:9, Isaiah 47:9, +  A CME will strike unexpectedly and will pass within 24 hours. 

Is it so difficult for you to consider you could be wrong?

So those times I have read of asteroids that missed the Earth and they DIDN'T see them coming, until they had just passed by  (because they come from the direction of the sun), were they just lies?  What do you do with those things that DO last for more than 24 hrs.? And those effects that are PERMANENT?? Like mountains and islands being moved out of their place and fleeing away/ CME's do that? Btw please go back to that you made saying a CME will cause darkness as it approaches.

Uriah, before making rude inferences to fellow Christians, it would be advisable for you to know more about what a CME can do;

www.ecology.com/earths greatest threat-the sun and its CME's   is one useful website, there are other, but the reality is that scientists can only guess at how badly a big CME would affect our modern civilization.  The Bible prophets do describe it quite well, but its still hard to visualize the terrible effects of what the Lord will do on His Day of wrath.

A quick rewind...the destruction of Damascus, in my view, will be done by God. Anything man damages can be rebuilt. As I referred to the Golan being a volcanic region, a nearby eruption could cover the city with a couple feet of ash. This would collapse most roofs. Volcanic ash is like extremely small shards of glass and would permanently damage people's lungs when it is stirred up. Nobody will be able to rebuild-period.

There is also a biblical reference to "the coasts of Lebanon being set on fire". This too is almost certainly something that would happen from a powerful explosion in the right volcanic peak in the area.

Not only does God have His own kind of artillery in the volcanic Golan, He has a special kind of missile shield to be put in place aw well. Nobody has ever explained this before and it is quite significant.

With all the charges building in space, the excess energy will be pushed along its natural path to the interior of the planet.

 

This will enhance the inner magnetic field of the Earth which forms "bands". They have actually been recently visualized in their counterpart above ground. Remnants of their effects can be seen in "stripes" on the sea floor being mistaken for pole shifts.

As the charges continue, the magnetically coherent dome will find attraction to the charged material above. In a simplified illustration we can see the "leaking" charged material falling to the dome.

These plasmoids could called ball lightning on steroids!  Below are some captured images note the one that looks like a "bird" AND...when moving across a magnetic field perpendicularly, they "flutter".

 

 

Make no mistake, God will not allow Israel to be nuked. Or otherwise pummeled into rubble by incoming missiles toward His Holy hill.
