I can get that many different responses asking for descriptions of Galveston Bay. The topic is the photo of the earth and moon, not astronauts statements. Stop trying to derail the topic with unrelated noise.

False Equivalence Fallacy. The only way to make it "Equivalent" to the astroNOTS Trainwreck is to have some people describe Galveston Bay WITH WATER and others saying NO WATER for goodness sakes. smh

Thought about getting some photographs but couldn't figure out how. We had it set on 60X and could almost make out the craters. Interesting. Seems like it would not be that hard to make out the craters. I took the image below on July 14, 2017 with my digital camera, using it's built in zoom lens, and not even a tripod, it is a hand held shot. Not a great or professional shot certainly, but you can make out the craters. Using it to see the rings of Saturn however, did not come out as well. I guess there are just limits to what one can do with hand held consumer grade cameras which do not have interchangeable lenses.
