The Ark of the Covenant

And they shall make an ark of shittim wood:

two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof,

and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof,

and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold,

within and without shalt thou overlay it,

and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it,

and put them in the four corners thereof;

and two rings shall be in the one side of it,

and two rings in the other side of it.

And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood,

and overlay them with gold.

And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark,

that the ark may be borne with them.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark:

they shall not be taken from it.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold:

two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof,

and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold,

of beaten work shalt thou make them,

in the two ends of the mercy seat.

And make one cherub on the one end,

and the other cherub on the other end:

even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high,

covering the mercy seat with their wings,

and their faces shall look one to another;

toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark;

and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

And there I will meet with thee,

and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat,

from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony,

of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

'Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood:
two cubits shall be the length thereof,
and a cubit the breadth thereof,
and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold,
and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about,
and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold,
and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood,
and overlay them with gold,
that the table may be borne with them.
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof,

And thou shalt set upon the table
shewbread before me alway.'

The Lampstand -Exodus 25

31 “Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.

32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other.

33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand." (Exodus 25:31-33)

And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds,

with their knops and their flowers.

And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same,

and a knop under two branches of the same,

and a knop under two branches of the same,

according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

Their knops and their branches shall be of the same:

all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof:

and they shall light the lamps thereof,

that they may give light over against it.

And the tongs thereof,

and the snuffdishes thereof,

shall be of pure gold.

Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it,

with all these vessels.

“Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by a skilled worker. 2 All the curtains are to be the same size—twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide 3 Join five of the curtains together, and do the same with the other five. 4 Make loops of blue material along the edge of the end curtain in one set, and do the same with the end curtain in the other set. 5 Make fifty loops on one curtain and fifty loops on the end curtain of the other set, with the loops opposite each other. 6 Then make fifty gold clasps and use them to fasten the curtains together so that the tabernacle is a unit.Exodus 26:1-6

And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle:

eleven curtains shalt thou make.

The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits,

and the breadth of one curtain four cubits:

and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.

And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves,

and six curtains by themselves,

and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.

And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling,

and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.

And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass,

and put the taches into the loops,

and couple the tent together,

that it may be one.

And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent,

the half curtain that remaineth,

shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.

And a cubit on the one side,

and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent,

it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side,

to cover it.

And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red,

and a covering above of badgers' skins.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
