The book the cross and the switch blade really effected me when I was 18. Dave knew God in my opinion. When he died I was shock and sad. But he went to be with his master praise God ! I use to get his monthly letter for years.

I'm sure he's with his Savior,to read the whole story of Nicky Croese is amazing, he was so deep in witchcraft too, didn't he grow up with witchcraft? The Lord delivered him in a mighty way as only He can do!

I wonder if there is a movie about him? I vaguely remember seeing a movie about it?

It has been a very long time since I heard Pastor Dave's sermons on our church's website. I would burst into tears.

I just listened again  to this book a couple of days ago, the  days he was speaking about are here....and we better listen.

It was so sad when he talks about the homosexuality, because it is so true, and the worse hasn't come yet.

I know Tigger, all the things he's talking about are happening now--

Jesus please come soon...

No unfortunately I was in the times square area to go to a music shop. And i stop there to see if I could meet him. Both times he was not there. But I saw him and Nicky in the street once. I met a couple of real nice Christians there even through Dave was not there.  The one fellow was a part of that church for years.  I wish I would have went to a service back then. To me God used him in a unique way.

You don't have to tell me... Sis, I began listening to his sermons & interviews with him long ago on youtube.  I was a fan of his for years while he was still alive.  But, regrettably , i never had the chance to go to New York and see his church and hear him in person.  Same thing happened with Dave Hunt, I listened to him online, had some of his books  & CD's and was so disappointed when he passed away, though we can still watch his old videos.

We had Dave Hunts books also and not to forget Grand Jeffrew:)

I been to the times square church twice  in the 1990s.

I visited Times Square Church once around 1990.  It was an awful area back then, with adult books stores, bars and prostitutes all around.  There were homeless people hanging around inside his church.  He chose a hard area to start his church.  I have heard the area is not as bad today as it was then.

Yes the LORD God powerfully used him. :off-topic: Once when I was in New York a guy was dressed like the prophet Isaiah I'm talking Biblically dressed, who carried a big sign that said, "REPENT!  The END is Near! " He gave me a Bible tract! I told him that agreed with him!  :)

Off topic, but Amir had a new update today, listening to it right now:)

Times square is good now compared to then. He wanted to be near that type of area. The gospel went out to the poor and the afflicted.
