If I may steer this back to the OP...

False teachers are successful because they offer to do all the thinking for us. When a new believer encounters a giant book full of thick material that only Spirit-led study using all of their reading comprehension skills can explain, it's easy rely on someone else who has all the answers.

Lets not get into the king james debate. There are many false teachers in the world. We need to compare what they say with the basic truths of the bible.

I won't measure anyone's truthfulness by any Bible but the KJV.

Lets be careful and watchout for any false teachers on Worthy. Compare what anyone says with the bible. Myself included. Because there have been much false doctrine on this board.

We can be led astray by this. The only thing to trust is the bible itself. Christ is the center of all things. We need to be rooted in Jesus alone and not any man.

Remember what John said we have need of no one to teach us. Because the annoting teaches us ALL THINGS. Let no man spoil you. The Apostles teachings are inspired by the holy spirit. And is full source of knowlege.

'Hold fast the form of sound words,
which thou hast heard of me

in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.'

(2 Tim. 1:13)

Hello there, @Wayne222,

That is good advice (above), isn't it?

Timothy was surrounded by controversy and debate, much like that found on any forum today, and He was lifted up above it, by another important instruction,

Study to shew thyself approved unto God
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings:
for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
And their word will eat as doth a canker:

of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
Who concerning the truth have erred,
saying that the resurrection is past already;
and overthrow the faith of some.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure,
having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are His.
And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity.’

(2 Tim. 2:15-19)

* It is God's approval that we should seek, where His Word is concerned, and no other.

* In the second chapter of Colossians, there is again, a warning to beware, but before it is given, the instruction designed to counteract it is given too.

In Christ Jesus
Chris

and use a real KJV Bible instead of a counterfeit, your foot and head would feel better, and you would learn the real truth about what saith the Lord.

I'm just going to put this up there in quotes and see if anyone else feels like the above statement is a judgment upon me and  my Christian walk.

I would also like to say that I do not attack or judge the faith of a fellow Christian who prefers to use the KJV Bible. Though it seems that the same can not be said for KJV only people. Those of us who prefer another translation over the KJV are mercilessly judge as being less Holy  and nearly stoned by the group of KJV only people on this site.

I was just joking, because of the head bashing icon you put there,

Have I commited a sin by asking.

If so show us all.... which.

Im not feeling much love here. Maybe I should leave it here and go and ask the Prostitutes and Tax collectors at the gates of the forum.

I will pray for you.

I would love to comment except I am confused at the moment.  I never accused anyone of committing a sin.  So......Yeah....I don't know???

Personally I thought the posting  the head smashing on a brick wall gif  was jumping to conclusions and making out there was an  issue when there was merely an innocent question asked.

I knew where it was going to lead too and it appears to have gone in that direction. Thus my reason for posting this :th_frusty:  emoj which means a never ending debate which is what happens when the subject of KJV only pops up around here.

He was confused because he asked me a question and you banged your head on the wall.

You were complaining about "the argument" but Dan thought you were attacking "the person." Since you quoted him in your head bang, he took it as a personal shot.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
