Well clearly we have different definitions of what "hanging out" means.   That seems to be what the problem is here.  For me anyway, having lunch is someone is "hanging out".  I don't know what it means for you. As you have not said. So........I don't know?

The point is that Jesus didn't take sinners as friends and there is not one place the Bible says that He did.  Stop trying to force the Bible to say something it doesnt' say.
