Pence spoke with someone in venezuela that said it was all planned by the left. This is outright assault on our country! I hope Trump does as he said and has 1000's of officials waiting to turn them back. Im so sick of the left using illegals as weapons

The US is legally obliged to consider the cases of asylum seekers.

Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua have Temporary Protected Status status, so they can ask for asylum at a border crossing and they will be allowed into the country.

The Secretary of Homeland Security may designate a foreign country for TPS due to conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country's nationals from returning safely, or in certain circumstances, where the country is unable to handle the return of its nationals adequately.  USCIS may grant TPS to eligible nationals of certain countries (or parts of countries), who are already in the United States.  Eligible individuals without nationality who last resided in the designated country may also be granted TPS.

The Secretary may designate a country for TPS due to the following temporary conditions in the country:

Ongoing armed conflict (such as civil war)

An environmental disaster (such as earthquake or hurricane), or an epidemic

Other extraordinary and temporary conditions

https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/temporary-protected-status

Both US and International Law require that we let all asylum seekers into the country and give them a fair hearing to see if they qualify for temporary or permanent immigration status.

What does the Bible say?

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. (Proverbs 19:17)

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. (Psalm 82:3)

Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him. (Proverbs 14:31)

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me (Matthew 25:35)

As I watched, I see that NBC news is just as dense with the anti-Trump rhetoric so they can join the my No watch list with Cnn & Msnbc.  Pres Trump is a Nationalist & patriot trying to plug up the holes in the dam before the levy breaks.  Btw, I agree Jade, it is as you say an invasion or replacement population.  It's what the UN wants- no borders, a central power & global socialism. Good luck to the natural born for generations citizens - say goodbye to your countries, or wake up and defend against the tide of socialism that wears a disguise because we've been sold out by the politicians & globalist elites that are making decisions for us & they have many useful idiots at the grassroots who give them the manpower to shut down public discourse & free speech. The incoming migrants are going to vote for aid- socialism.

I hope they are turned back. They are invaders testing our solidarity and many are criminals.

.You can't mix the responsibility of the individual (Christian) with those responsibilities of the government.

This is true, but look at the responses Christians are giving not only in this thread, but also on social media. In this thread for example, not one person has suggested we pray for these people or have shown any concern for their safety and well being.

It would be more believeable if they weren't carrying their country's flag.

Here in the Philippines they are in the middle of a drug war. Depending on who's reporting the numbers there have been between 12,000 and 20,000 killed in the past two years, many at the hands of the government including innocent women and children. If there wasn't thousands of miles of ocean between here and the US, you would see a lot of Filipino refugees showing up at the border. While they would be fleeing their country, it doesn't mean they don't love it. Patriotism is strong in this country just like anywhere else, and waving their country's flag doesn't mean their not fleeing persecution and danger.

Another thing to consider is that most of this caravan will probably dissipate before it ever reaches the border. The one earlier in the year started out with 1,500 people and had dwindled to just 200 or 300 by the time it reached the US border. This one is much larger, but 1,500 people out of this group have already asked for asylum in Mexico and that number will increase as the days and weeks go by just as it did with the last caravan. A few hundred, or even a few thousand desperate people arriving at the US border is not a security crisis. We can easily screen, process, and absorb those people into our country if it's determined their claims are based on a genuine fear of returning to their country.

We should pray for these people rather than fear them. For those who make it to the border, we should pray that our government will treat them fairly and accept them if they are in need of refuge.

Not just used against Trump but against any of the population in the western world that are saying stop this influx , they get called racist or alt-right.  Many Germans are saying their streets are dangerous now , & the women do not have the freedom they once had , nor in France etc.  In the UK there have been grooming gangs arrested for raping young girls and using them for sex trade. Gangs of migrants rioting and throwing rocks in the streets.  I don't recall new immigrants doing these things in the past. There is not the desire to integrate into the host culture and become a westerner.

I'm not sure we will see this for some time.

I don't think these people are coming to escape that.   They carrying their own nation's flag, burning the US flag, calling Trump the Antichrist and putting their middle finger up as they burn our flag.

Those are not asylum seekers.   They are the kind of people we need to keep out of our country.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
