Sam,

Logical fallacies aside, I'm really curious about why you're here.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I want to discourage people from checking out Christianity...but if you're so convinced that Christians are wrong and you are right, what exactly are you doing here? I certainly welcome honest questions from people coming with a spirit of willingness to learn, but if your motive is to convert us to the Muslim faith, I gotta tell you, you're wasting your time.

Lord, we lift up Sam68 to You; I don't think it's an accident that he is here. Lord, You have brought many out of the darkness into the light and we know You can do the same for Sam68. Though like Saul he may come as one seeking to discredit our faith, You can turn him around and make him another Apostle Paul. Lord let something that has been said here be planted in Sam's heart and Lord, water that seed until it becomes a full, thriving plant. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord, you have brought Sam68 here to this forum. If we can be of any help in bring Sam68 to you, bless us with the words that will touch his heart, bless us with the kindness and understanding that we need to be good witnesses to your spirit and word. Lord, we ask you to continue to move upon Sam68's heart and give him the desire to know the true God. Lord, may your will be done and may your kingdom come to Sam68's life. We ask all this in Yeshua's name. Amen.

Sam, where did you get your "facts"? Is this your own research? Instead of looking for rather insignificant things like this, you should check out the claims of Jesus. He said He is God. He came here to pay for the sins that keep all of us apart from the Lord. That is the kind of important information you need to investigate.

Sam, who is Jesus to you? Do you believe in the Lord?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

HI,

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHERE....!!!!!

SHOM ME THE VERSES PLS

WE WILL READ IT TOGEHER ,IF YOU DONT MIND

Excuse me!!!!

As you said THESE ARE FACTS...

Did Jesus ever claim to be "Mighty God" or "God"?

Yes He did. If you read the gospels (have you read them?) you will see over and over again where Jesus does clearly tell the Jews that He is God. It is why the Jews tried to stone Him time and time again.

I answered your questions. Would you please tell me who Jesus is to you? I would like to know.

I am sure of my own belief as a Christian but I would also like to know more about my religion.

I sometimes feel ridiculed as a Christian cant answer some questions.

I appreciate your sentiments. However,I want to be sure that you are really interested in learning the truth before I

Welcome to worthy.

The bible is the word of God. If there are "conflicting" verses, the problem isnt the verses or the bible, but rather the lack of understanding on our part.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Simple but excellent answer, Ayin. ;)

WHAT GOSPEL ARE YOU READING?!?!?!? Where does Jesus ever say he is God, I would Love for you to point this out! I really would!!

So please, point out where it says in any gospel that he is God.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and He saw and was glad.

Joh 8:57 Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?

Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I AM!

Joh 8:59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus hid Himself and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and passed on by.

The Jews wanted to stone Him for equating Himself with God. Jesus used a name of God in this verse.

Joh 8:23 And He said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Joh 8:24 Therefore I said to you that you shall die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins.

Dont forget this passage too, which states that Jesus is Lord.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God; his name was John.

Joh 1:7 This one came as a witness, to bear witness concerning the Light, so that all might believe through him.

Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Joh 1:9 He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world.

Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and the world did not know Him.

Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and His own received Him not.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,

Joh 1:13 who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

Joh 1:15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I spoke: He who comes after me has been before me, for He was preceding me.

Joh 1:16 And out of His fullness we all have received, and grace for grace.

Joh 1:17 For the Law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Joh 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the Only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
