Here is another scripture: Psalm 45 which is a messianic psalm speaking about the Lord who is coming back as a mighty warrior king. It  says -

You have loved righteousness and hated inequities , therefore God, even your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions .

(Psalm 45:7,Hebrews 1:9 )

Hi Worship warrior. As I'm working my way through Paul's letters to the Corinthians (at the moment), the parallel verses come to mind. Paul sometimes repeats himself in multiple epistles elsewhere. The writers of the New Testament also tend to mirror each other in the some way. Sometimes the same vein of thought is captured elsewhere further back in history (Old Testament). Also, Jesus taught similar and in line with the rest and since Paul received the Gospel directly from the Lord, you will find parallel messages throughout the Word of God (in both Old and New Testament) which makes sense since the primary author of Scripture is the Holy Spirit... For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost - 2 Peter 1:21. The Bible displays conceptual consistency in various places (Scripture) in both space (geographical location) and time (points in history) through those inspired to write (prophets and preachers).
